Stopped in for a large mug of Milklab lactose free decently priced ($4.50) strong latte this morning. Glad I did. Quiet, only a few people coming and going, table by the fireplace, funky music (if a touch too loud) and friendly service. My kind of place not only for coffee but for what looks to be an awesome intimate small band venue (Thursday nights @the mo.)

Barbershop style speakeasy bar with live music and a decent selection of whiskeys.

I recommend going there after 6-7pm for the music. I went slightly earlier and they were just getting set up. The service was okay and the whiskey menu was not up to date but the selection was good nonetheless. The prices were decent too

As a whiskey lover myself, this place has a great selection of whiskeys from a range of varieties. Single malt scotch, blended, Irish, Canadian and when I was there, even Tasmanian. The staff are great and very experienced, and even going beyond whiskeys to even making cocktails which I did find are some of the best in Albury.
If whiskey isn’t your thing they do accommodate a fairly wide variety of other spirits such as gins, vodkas and tequilas and even sourcing out local schnapps. It’s also hidden very well too, like a secret bar, which also has a secret room if you can find it. I did go back on a Thursday night too where they apparently hold live gigs with fresh artists too, which is great to be able to see local artists perform, and hopefully have others in the area support their great talent.

In summary, great venue, great staff, an outstanding selection, awesome live music. Finally some difference in Albury, for the better.

Found this bar scrolling through Instagram oh my god it was amazing the decor how old school it looks the bartender was absolutely lovely she helped us to use different rums and whiskeys to try throughout the night.
They even had live music which was perfect.
And you're allowed to have dogs there which is awesome will definitely be visiting again

Didn't have any food, but the bar staff were awesome A+++. The cocktails were delicious, and the band was great. They had us all dancing in our seats. Oh, and the bar man can sing. Will definitely be back.

The sweetest place to have a coffee or tipple, or 2 in Albury - by far. Lovely owners and crew, awesome decor, exceptional drinks, comfortable and stylish other-worldly charm. And a fire in winter. Perfect.

Love this spot. Old school speak easy. Look for the hidden room. Changing hands, hope they keep it simple and keep the soul of the place.
