I can honestly say this was one of the best experiences of my life. Sure the beds were comfortable, yes I enjoyed the good sized meals, was my room clean and tidy - indeed. However what really made this experience blew my mind and that's the Power of Community. It's like a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow 🌈. Everyone was welcome, all ages, nationalities, body types, genders and identities. No-one gets left out, you can let your hair down and be your true authentic self, a 10 minute conversation will make you feel like you have made a best friend and the laughs will flow. Everyone made you feel loved and accepted exactly as you are. I came here with my tank low, batteries drained and feeling pretty rough from a very difficult year. I am leaving though with my heart full and a reminder to myself that we are never truly alone. We are all crazy gays and we will always be there to support each other and provide each other happiness. My biggest Thank You to Julien and Nathan for making this all possible and creating this wonderful environment for us all to have and share. They both worked so very hard and I'm ever so grateful. Had always wanted to stay here and can honestly say it was disappointing and certainly did not live up to my expectation. The website pictures of the rooms, amenities does not match my reality or experience. Yes great views, but for what we paid, it’s definitely not worth the money. Shocked to learn we had to cook our own breakfast, eggs, deli ham and sliced cheese provided, 2 types of fruit, standard cereals and bottled fruit juice. No buffet breakfast which in my travels is the norm when paying $400 plus a night for a room! The place overall is needing an upgrade, the gardens are neglected, the accomodation and beds are sub standard and as for the bathroom, well every time we showered it flooded the bathroom due to the more than poor design of the shower. And as for the food, we chose to eat out after the first night because frankly, it was beyond ordinary. The place overall is tired and old and needs a much needed update and refurbishment. Will we be back and would we recommend it to others, DEFINITELY NO.

I recently enjoyed a wonderful 2-night stay at Turtle Cove in Queensland, Australia, and I couldn't be more pleased with my experience. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm and welcoming staff who ensured a smooth check-in process.
The resort's location is simply stunning, with breathtaking ocean views and easy access to the beach. My room was spacious and nicely decorated, offering all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The balcony with an ocean view provided a perfect spot to relax and soak in the serene atmosphere.
The facilities at the resort were top-notch and being renovated after the torrential storm which had happened earlier this year. I particularly enjoyed the well-maintained pool and spa areas and the on-site restaurant, which served delicious meals with fresh, local ingredients. The breakfast buffet was a highlight, offering a wide variety of options to suit all tastes.
The staff went above and beyond to make my stay memorable, providing excellent service and helpful recommendations for local activities and attractions. They were always attentive and accommodating.
Overall, my stay at Turtle Cove exceeded my expectations in every way. I highly recommend this ocean resort to anyone looking for a relaxing and luxurious getaway in Queensland, Australia. I look forward to returning in the future!

If you are a member of the LGBTI community, then Turtle Cove is a great place to meet other in the community, and spend time in a beautiful location. It is however very tired and in need of a makeover. The bathrooms particularly are problematic. The showers are not closed in, and the small room floods, which takes forever to dry out or until the room is serviced. Rooms aren’t serviced during a party weekend. The staff were very friendly, and the food at dinner very good. Breakfast very basic, and as there is nothing nearby, it requires a drive if you want something else. Pool and spa excellent, as is the location. For two days there was constant noise of chainsawing, leaf blowing and nail gunning on the roof. Not conducive to relaxing. On my last night, the Manager entertained the guests with an exotic pole dance display. While fun, not sure thats what I expect from management of a resort. I suspect Turtle Cove once a high end resort, but time and events have reduced its charm.

Wow, fantastic venue for the INXS tribute show last night.. Great location, gorgeous beach, good stocked bar.. *Did not stay at the Resort, so won't give a review on rooms, but the accommodation area looked amazing*

Nathan and Julian are beautiful folk, they took us in under their wings. And we grew... and we absolutely flew. We had a great time and cherished memories were had !

This place is a hidden piece of paradise! Just heavenly. There are not many LGBTQ+ resorts that welcome allies, so as a heterosexual couple- we felt absolutely blessed and lucky to be able to stay here and enjoy the privacy of this incredible cove from our beachfront room. Peacocks roamed around, gorgeous paperbark trees line the private beach and there is a clothing optional beach too further down. Food was yum and cocktails were refreshing! Best of all- no children!

Perfect getaway for the weekend. Nathan & Julien were very kind, hospitable, and a great laugh! We went a couple of weekends ago for one of their events, and it was a great night. Made full use of the private beach, spa, and pool! 🙂 Highly recommend.
