Great experience at the Boatshed. We had multiple items and went more than once. Great for a quick fish & chip takeout, perfect for a mid morning coffee and also good for an afternoon snack or cold beer.

Low key seating on the water with great views of the river. Some small boats come to dock there, which makes it lively, going to or coming back from a fishing outing.

I recommend the fish & chips and fried shrimp, i don't recommend the seafood sticks though.

Super fresh seafood. Water views and we saw a seal and sea eagle flying around. Boats can park right near the tables. Cool casual atmosphere.

My partner and I travelled to Tuross for a birthday weekend. We hired a boat on the Sunday to do some fishing and it was incredibly peaceful! Service was great, atmosphere was amazing, we even got to see a seal! Weekend was perfect. Thanks guys! Look forward to our next trip!

Beautiful location for some fish and chips. We visited near sunset and managed to catch the sunset over the river. If you have the time, we would highly recommend visiting at sunset time.
The shop is at the bottom of an incline, so do beware when travelling with anyone with mobility impairment.
The food was also fresh and tasty. The calamari was beautifully cooked, and highly recommended.
Service was also quick, so not much of a wait for the food.

It’s always worth taking the time for a slight detour off the Princes Highway to visit the Tuross Boatshed and Cafe, for fish and chips on the waterside deck. Perfect location at any time of year. Picture postcard setting with great views over Tuross Lake.

Today we ordered a Boatshed Feed for $22.50 and shared this between two people. This included 2 x small portions of battered white fish that was succulent and fresh, 2 x battered processed seafood sticks, 2 x prawns in breadcrumbs (crisp on the outside and just cooked to perfection on the inside), 2 x breaded calamari that was tender and melted in the mouth, and a serve of processed chips - crisp on the outside and piping hot.

They also serve soft drinks, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, milk shakes and alcoholic beverages, including a selection of wines and beers.

Great little cafe on the waters edge, dog friendly and a nice atmosphere. Good range of options for food, there’s normally some yummy sweets to go with the coffee too.
