Tumbling Waters is an absolutely enchanting venue, with gorgeously kept gardens, a warm inviting atmosphere, and run by caring and dedicated staff.

They were personally attentive to our needs leading up to and throughout our big day. Our guests were well taken care of while we were away for photos, and we had some entrees brought out to us to make sure we weren't missing out. The professional, caring, kind, and warm nature of the staff was remarked upon by many the week after.

Finally, the catering was literally mouthwatering, with the quality and variety being top notch. The chef was especially lovely in regards to dietary requirements, creating a few unique dishes for those with nut allergies and the vegan guests.

An incredible experience through and through, we recommend this to anyone wanting a bewitching event.

We have just attended a family wedding at Tumbling Waters and the whole experience was exceptional. Set within beautiful gardens and with spectacular ocean views, the location is stunning. Special thanks to Yaan for his calm, good natured efficiency in looking after us so well and making everything run so smoothly. He and the team were fantastic and contributed greatly to making the day so memorable and magical. The food and wine were also excellent and many thanks to the Chef for creating such delicious menu options which could be enjoyed by everyone, including those with special dietary requirements. Although, I did not have the pleasure of staying at the retreat this time, the accommodation also looked amazing.

I have had the opportunity of travelling extensively and have stayed at some stunning resorts all over the world however TWR takes my past experiences to another level. ||From the time we made the reservation till we checked out, it was all about attention to detail. The way in which we were treated by management and staff alike made our weekend getaway a sensational experience. ||The room itself was spacious, well appointed but super comfortable. The bed, the linen and the general amenities were also 5 star. Our suite had a stunning outdoor bathtub, yet very private. ||As part of the weekend away with 2 other couples (it was all of our wedding anniversaries) we enjoyed an an la carte dinner in the TWR restaurant where we were treated to the finest dining with sensational wines to accompany our meal. Our indulgent dinner was followed with more fun (and drinking) in the stunning lounge/bar area adjoining the restaurant where we met a few other guests. ||On our check out on the Sunday, we all decided to book another weekend away for 2025. We came here for a weekend getaway for a baby moon and it was just so relaxing. Not at all far from Sydney. They were kind and upgraded us to a Luxe ocean room, there were two weddings while we were there and we didn’t hear anything. The view was stunning, we loved the out door bath, we entered the room and it was infused with eucalyptus with relaxation music playing. Breakfast was delicious as well.
For dinner we choose to venture out, there is so many cute costal towns with beautiful beaches and food places within a 20 minute drive and Helensburgh 5 minutes up the road.

My wife and I stayed at Tumbling Waters Retreat after attending a wedding at the venue. This is a family business run by Sonya, Andrew and their son Yaan. You can tell by their service, smiles and conversation that they genuinely care about how the service is, and want to make sure you're comfortable with your stay. The accommodation is located at Stanwell Tops, offering majestic views of the ocean and coastline. The rooms are nice and large with all the comforts of a luxurious stay. Our favourite was the delicious buffet-style breakfast served at the top deck of the main building. The staff were all lovely, in particular Jess who made sure the coffees were made just the way you like. We will definitely be staying with them again, when exploring the South Coast, and highly recommend their hospitality ?

Thank you for all the hard work leading up to the event and being available to answer our many questions. We felt so relaxed on the day and a big part of that was how easy you all made everything and knowing everything was taken care of.

The food was amazing, the wine and sparkling was delicious and the view as always was stunning.

We held a special birthday party for our family at this retreat. The owners, and all staff, ensured we had a memorable night. The food was delicious and exceptional. The service was outstanding. The accommodation was of a very high standard. Highly recommended. A beautiful venue that exceeds it's reputation. We will be back, because smiles and great memories are priceless.
