A friend and I stayed here for two nights whilst in North Queensland and it was just perfect. We didn’t want to leave! Peter was such a wonderful host and the coffee was to die for. The sounds of the creek and the birds were music to the soul. Highly recommend and would love to stay again. Thank you Peter and Steven for your lovely hospitality

The amazing hosts, Peter and Steve, along with their fur babies, were absolutely wonderful and great company - we had such a great time and lots of laughs chatting to them (but equally if we hadn’t been up for a chat, am sure they would have left us alone after information and pleasantries). Peter cooked us a delicious breakfast in the morning complete with amazing home made bread, and then offered us a tour of the gorgeous tropical gardens. The setting of the property is unbelievable and we even braved a swim in the creek at the bottom of the garden in the morning - bliss! The mattress and pillow were super comfortable too. We knew this before booking, so it wasn’t a surprise and there were no other guests staying so it wasn’t an issue, but the toilet and bathroom (separate) are shared facilities pending renovations. If you don’t like animals, and are wanting your standard Airbnb experience (rather than a home stay) then this isn’t the place for you.

Only good thing about this place is the location!|Owner insisted on us taking our shoes off when we arrived due to having a new carpet….yet dogs were wandering around on it! Thought we’d have a self contained area but it was the owners kitchen etc |Owner was cooking breakfast next day but no choice except have it or not…I’d asked for toast(instead of eggs on toast) but was given buttered toast so not even an option to put my own butter on!|Photos are obviously old as it certainly needs updating big time!!

Absolutely fantastic weekend!! Highly recommend Tropical bliss B&B. I absolutely fell in love with the owner Peter as soon as I arrived. My daughter and I were made to feel at home instantly, we’re shown around The beautiful and unique home and then we were left to enjoy our time. The room was nice and cool, nice comfy bed to embrace the sounds of the rainforest outside so peaceful with such beautiful energy. The sounds of the babbling creek was my favourite part. Breakfast included and the poached eggs were perfect. I can’t wait to return, tropical bliss you are on my fav list ❤️

I arrived expecting a beautiful tranquil place to lay my head at the end of each day. But what I found was so much more. Our host Peter was nothing short of amazing and honestly it was a pleasure to wake each morning to his beautiful sense of humor and wonderful scrambled eggs. And this is to say nothing of the many beloved four legged custodians, all full of personality and love. I can't recommend enough 💕.

The beautiful rainforest setting and the fllowing creek and swimming hole.
This is a BnB of the traditional sense where guests have a private bedroom but all other areas are shared with hosts and other guests. Peter our host cooked a great brekky and was a good host. There are plans to build ensuites for each guest bedroom and this will greatly improve the property.

THERE IS NO AIR CONDITIONING in the bedrooms and was quite hot and humid. I had a terrible nights sleep.

I think this was poor value. If you are looking for a hotel style accommodation then this won't be for you. Booking .com said it was 177 but they charged $250.

I've just stayed two nights in this hidden gem. Tranquility surrounds you in this peaceful place. Peter and Steven are wonderful hosts. There are multiple lounging areas inside and out of this slice of rainforest, made complete with a "babbling brook". I felt completely at ease during my stay here.
