One of the best apartments we have stayed in. We stayed in unit 1. It is clean, spacious, beautifully decorated and has good airflow when the windows are open. Well equipped with all amenities that you'll need (we didn't have a pot for making pasta, but not a huge issue). Plenty of storage in the built in wardrobes. There are some DVDs for the kids. Beds are comfortable, towels are fluffy.

Management is excellent and very responsive to all queries. After hours check in was arranged easily. The pool is great. There is also a common bbq area, but we didn't use it.

The location is superb. Short walk to multiple supermarkets, restaurants, beach, main shopping strip and the Sunday markets. Caloundra was also very central for all the activities we planned for the Sunshine Coast.

Highly recommend Tripcony Quays. Book direct on the website for better rates and discounts for longer stays.

We loved our stay here. Private jetty to fish off. Beside boat ramp. Generous 3 bedrooms. Great views. Helpful manager. Cost was mid range but not expensive for what we enjoyed. Pool, but we didn't use it - the ocean was beautiful.

Stayed in unit 1 for two nights, which is 2 bedrooms with 1 bathroom. The unit was furnished with with dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. The unit was clean & the beds comfy. Theres no water views though.|The unit is an older style but bathroom is renovated. |The location is perfect close to restaurant and a 5 minutes drive to kmart and Coles. And a few minutes walk to the beach and nice restaurants and cafes. |Make sure that you bring your own toilet paper and toiletries. |Check in and check out was easy and quick.|I would definitely stay here again.

I absolutely loved my stay! The rooms were beautiful, short walk to everything you need, and the manager is so helpful. Honestly, you're missing out if you choose to stay elsewhere. Such good value for a holiday in December! We will definitely be back!

We visited with extended family, spread over three apartments. The facilities are clean and unpretentious, but certainly value for money. Great location, close to Bulcock and a shallow picnic area in the sound for younger kids but also only a little further to Kings and other beaches for older. Access to walks north and south and all the amenties Caloundra has. See you next year!

We stayed for a weekend and have only good things to say. We could walk to the beach, had water views, a private roof top, the place was clean and well looked after. The onsite managers obviously look after the place really well and were super friendly. We would definitely go back again

Have enjoyed holidaying in Number 6 for over 15 years. Love the views, previous caretakers and simple, unrefined amenities. The new upgrades(2017)were pretty lovely, too. Have moved on - can’t secure our previous bookings. Great place to enjoy the Sunshine Coast.

Tripcony Quays is a block of 18 units set along the left hand side of Maloja Avenue, Caloundra. They are not all available for holiday rental, some are permanent private residences. There is a mix of 2 and 3 bedroom apartments. Units 5,6, 11, 12, 17 and 18 are 3-bedroom and have balconies that look out on the water. I cannot guarantee that all of these are available for rent, but we were able to rent #18 this year. Top floor apartments have their own roof barbecue areas. There are other communal barbecue areas serving units on lower floors. There is a very good salt-water swimming pool, which is good for a quick dip as beach swimming at Caloundra has to be tightly regulated due to dangerous tidal conditions and you have about 1km walk to get to safe swimming. Parking is excellent - each unit has a lock-up garage under the block (actually the ground floor - no units are set on the ground floor.) There are also about 6 visitor car spots, and nearby parking in the lane, but this is mainly for people using the adjacent boat ramp. |The location is superb. It is right at the end of the row of apartment blocks along the Caloundra waterfront, so you don't feel hemmed-in unless you are on the inner units. You have excellent shopping available within easy walking distance, and many good casual dining places. The walk into the centre of Caloundra is only 5-10 minutes, and there are quite a few shops there and a weekly street-market. It is all very convenient and relaxing! Units not on the water-end are either along Tripcony lane, which is a dead-end street ending in the boat ramp, or close beside the next property. I would suggest you avoid these, as the next door property has a lot of "family" accommodation and the noise from uncontrolled kids shouting and screaming at each other as they run up and down the footpath between the two buildings is very intrusive (we had one of these units in 2017).|Next, the amenities. The kitchen has a full-size refrigerator, dish washer, oven and cooktop. There is a microwave oven and most of the essential small appliances (eg toaster). The pots, pans, dishes, cutlery, crockery and drinkware are a real mix-up of bits and pieces left over after breakages or left behind by guests from stuff they had to buy to supplement what was there. I could almost guarantee you will need to visit Kmart (about 200m away) to top up glassware, crockery or cutlery that you will need. There are three bedrooms in #18. The main one has a QS bed and an ensuite. The second has a double-with-single-above bunk arrangement. The 3rd has 2 single beds. All bedrooms have adequate built in wardrobes and bed-linen and blankets are provided. There is also a master bathroom with shower, bath and second toilet. There are 2 TVs. The main one in the living room is about a 42" Samsung, and excellent, except that the supposed Foxtel option is via analogue rather than digital channels and thus very poor quality, and thus has no CC subtitles - vital as we are both hard of hearing. There is a smaller Samsung in the main bedroom and it's excellent. WiFi is available, but it is pay by the day and quite expensive. Using Mobile Data is a much better way to go, and the 4G signal is of high quality. |All in all, the area is very pleasant, except for the issue of kid noise in the lane between Tripcony and "Watermark" next door, and the occasional early morning fisherman launching his boat on the ramp. We had a great stay, despite the issues associated with the condition of our unit. One of the best parts of staying at Caloundra is that the site manager, Jim, is very responsive to any problem, and if anything goes wrong he is very prompt in getting it fixed. He has a difficult job balancing the needs of the guests against owners who seem reluctant to invest in the upkeep of their properties, but is always cheerful and helpful. Unfortunately we did have a few issues while we were there, largely due to very extreme weather, but also to general neglect of the property. |It is much in need of refurbishment and general cleaning, such as the leather lounge suite, which was dark grey rather than the off-white it once had been. The rug and other carpetting were also showing their age. While we were there torrential rain revealed that there was a leak from the roof terrace into the main bedrooom, which soaked a couple of square metres of carpet. The colonial shutters had warped badly due to sun exposure, too. The railing on the balcony, composed of vertical rods or tubes let into an upper and lower tube rattled badly in the wind. The en-suite bathroom was also showing its age, and as a bare minimum the shower needs re-grouting. |Despite these issues, we would happily stay there again. It is very good value accommodation in a superb location.
