Trinity Links Resort and Apartments - White Rock, Queensland

I have been going to Trinity Links Resort for just over 15 years now. It is an older Resort however they do a good job of maintaining a modern type look and feel. One word of warning however is there can be 3 levels and there are no lifts so if you are Physically Challenged either request a ground floor or give this Resort a miss. The Apartments are well appointed and spaciously laid out. The Apartments have all of the facilities such as Washing Machine, Dryer, Dishwasher and separate Air Conditioning in each Room to cater for different temperature preferences. Great Pool and Spa and a Gym. TV and good entertainment hub in the room. You would have to be extremely picky if you didn't like the Apartments. Plenty of Car parking in the gated areas and undercover parks if it's not busy season. Would have been better if the site was close to Cairns but by Car we can get into Cairns in 10 minutes in out of peak hour traffic.

Unfortunately the 2 bedroom apartment had not been cleaned. There was dirt and paper rubbish on both bathrooms. A huge wad of hair in main shower and the dishwasher was full of unwashed plates and pots and pans etc. on arrival there was a strong cooking smell and after 2 days an even worse smell which we thought was sewerage until we discovered the dishwasher on leaving( we had not used it!
The pool was lovely and beds comfortable! Very quiet peaceful location. No traffic noise!

The Room was ok but very basic and a lot of mold in the bathrooms and air-conditioning units. Pool would be a lot cleaner if there weren't so many plants that drop leaves and stuff around the pool. Apart from that we spent a lovely week in Cairns staying there.

The apartment was completely dirty, of which I took photos with dead flies on the bed included, kitchen full of oil, kettle the same, hair everywhere, floor and inside drawers, lack of material, dirty towels with stains, toilet dirty,...

The first day I expressed my dissatisfaction with the room at the reception showing them photos, and the girl at first wanted to excuse herself by telling me that some stains like the ones on the nightstand were permanent marks that would not go away even if they were cleaned, to which I replied that I understand what she means since I have worked in housekeeping in 5 star hotels and one thing is marks that do not go away and another thing is that it is sticky, which implies a lack of cleanliness.

To get out of the problem, she told me that she would tell the room cleaning team so that they would come and clean it and they never did, nobody showed up in the 5 days that we were there, they don't even have free wifi which is the most basic thing even in hostels.

It is not worth paying for such facilities and even less for this lack of service.

Great pools, spa and facilities. Rooms are spacious. Service scored low as the reception is only open for limited time, so you can't access the gym early morning or get additional supplies. Supplies provided not enough for 4 people. The flooring was in somewhat poor condition.

Lovely stay, a few room issues but helpful staff. Reception hours more limited than in a lot of places so if out and about had to wait till next day. Nice pool. Location out of the way unless you play golf.

Nice spacious accommodation, but the decor is a little dated (July 24). Good pool and warm (not hot) spa.
Easy access to Cairns and beyond. No cafe or bar on site. Reception only open around 6 hours per day.

Nima Sherpa

Quiet, comfortable, very nice place for a family holiday. The spa and pool are fantastic outside Verandah was cosy . The single room's window side bed was squeaky, a common bathroom towel hanger was loose , and the cloth airer needed larger. The rest of the service is great. We would love to book it again.
