The breakfast waffles with bacon and fried egg with maple syrup was amazing, accompanied with a coffee milkshake was the perfect mix of relaxation, calm, flavour and holiday vibes. The staff were great. Mellow tunes in the morning. Really put a smile on my dial and gave me a great memory of this holiday.

Dome 7, at Domes by the Sea, provides the perfect little sanctuary in the superb location of Trinity Beach, one of Cairns Northern beach suburbs.
It is surrounded by beautifully manicured gardens and is only a hop, skip, and a jump from all amenities, including the beach.
The dome has so much character and a real beach vibe. The interior is tastefully decorated with a carefree, coastal theme and offers EVERY comfort to its guest/s; comfortable bedding, a glorious shower with great pressure, and heaps of personalised touches to make it feel like 'home'.
The location is absolutely perfect for those who want a laid-back stay with beautiful scenic walking opportunities, great cafes and restaurants, live entertainment, and easy access to local buses.
The superhosts, Helen and Daryl, go out of their way to ensure their guest/s have a wonderful stay, thoughtfully equippining the dome with every possible item you can think of and even more.
I loved my stay in Dome 7 and have no hesitation in giving it a five star rating.

I hosted relatives visiting from Sydney over seven days and spent $1200.00 at The Beach House. One night we turned up without a reservation and the waitress arranged the chairs, when I sat on mine I fell into the garden bed and grabbed onto the table causing two glasses to smash. The night manager ran over and accused me of moving the tables and wouldn’t listen to my explanation about how the waitress trying to be helpful moved the table and chairs too close to the garden bed and didn’t seem to care that I almost got injured. I felt embarrassed and belittled and left the premises, taking my family and friends to a nearby Tavern where we dined consistently over the remainder of their holidays, better service and food at half the price. I never went back the Beach House Cafe as feel that although the manager was busy he neglected his duty of care for his customers, caused embarrassment for his patrons and let down his employers as I took my business elsewhere and found good service, location, food, ambience all at half the price only a few doors up.

We spent an extended holiday in Trinity beach. It’s great! Several restaurants and cafes dot the beach side and there are many shady spots to enjoy the coast.

In the morning, expect many friendly locals enjoying the scenery.

Visiting during stinger season November to May means you’re constrained to swimming in a stinger net to protect you from marine stingers like Irukandji. For further protection, caches if vinegar are there to relieve stings.

Even if you don’t go in the water, it’s still great

Very nice and cosy dome. Everything that is needed is included and very close to the beach. The one thing I would improve are the couch-beds as they are a bit too small and my legs were off the bed.
