At first, I thought the hotel was old and might not be great, but overall, the facilities inside were quite good. One thing that surprised me was that parking was difficult to find. Later, I found out it was because of a water pipe burst, which also made the walk from the parking area to the room quite long. I now understand that this was not a normal situation.

The room itself was quite good. What impressed me the most was the service at checkout. The staff member not only asked where I was heading but also walked me to the door and gave clear directions, even pointing out which way to turn after exiting. That, to me, truly demonstrated what hospitality in a hotel should be.

I don’t know the gentleman’s name, but he had dark skin and a newborn baby, as I saw on his screen. He truly deserves a promotion because he exemplified what a hotel staff member should be. Well done!

Love this place. Rooms are old world charm. Bed is very comfortable. Marble bathroom is lovely. Seperate shower and bath. Staff are very obliging. You park in casino car park but it is free to guests. But of a walk to rooms but it’s a walkway so you don’t go outside. Beautiful building and close to shopping and a pleasant walk over the bridge to QPAC.|All in all once again a very pleasant stay. We will definitely be back.

Great location, walking distance to Southbank and the city centre (under 10 minutes). A lot restaurants and pubs near the hotel. Excellent customer service from the hotel receptionist and housekeeping staff. Keep it up!

I had the absolute pleasure of once again (3rd time now) residing in the majestic Hotel Suite at the Treasury Hotel Brisbane, and it was once again truly a regal experience. This expansive luxury suite, spanning approximately 100 square meters, epitomized old-world charm and sophistication.||||The suite's interior was a masterclass in elegant design, boasting two stunning marble bathrooms, a spacious walk-in robe, and two expansive desks. The presence of two large TVs catered to both work and leisure, while the six-seat dining table provided an ideal setting for entertaining or enjoying a private meal. ||||The in-room dining has reduced somewhat since my last stay, with a new cutoff time of 9pm daily and a reduced menu. This is apparently due to the old star casino across the road no longer supporting the hotels catering, however, the new casino is also across the road & perhaps there is an opportunity to revisit the in room dining support from the Star. We miss having freshly shucked oysters served in room.||||The piĆØce de rĆ©sistance, however, was the sumptuous king-size bed, guaranteeing a restful slumber amidst the finest linens. You can see the video review on my Youtube channel.||||Beyond the suite itself, the Treasury Hotel Brisbane offered unparalleled access to the city's premier attractions. Queen Street Mall, the picturesque Riverside, and the new Star Casino complex were all mere steps away, providing endless opportunities for exploration and entertainment.||||What struck me most about this hotel suite, though, was its unique blend of classic luxury and modern convenience. In an era where sleek minimalism often dominates hotel design, the Treasury Hotel Brisbane's old-world charm was a breath of fresh air – a rarity that left an indelible mark on my stay.||||Rating: 5/5 stars||||Price: Reflects the high-end quality and luxury offered||||Location: Unbeatable access to Brisbane's main attractions||||Ambience: Elegant, sophisticated, and steeped in old-world charm||||Service: Impeccable and attentive||||Overall: A truly unforgettable luxury hotel experience in Brisbane

I booked this hotel for its old world charm. Big mistake. It is quite tired and in need of complete refurbishment or should be closed. The restaurant decor is like that of a third class train station. The hotel has 3 lifts. One was out of service on arrival and throughout the stay. A second went out of service on the second day and was not return to service. The final one broke down today so there is no elevator to any floor. As the hotel has 18 ft ceilings it is quite a hike to the upper floors. Completely unacceptable.

From the outside, the hotel looks stunning, but it’s in desperate need of a facelift. The dim lighting throughout the property gives it an eerie, haunted vibe rather than a cozy atmosphere. Upon checking in, we were given a room that felt as dark as a closet. The balcony couldn’t be opened due to some kind of plexiglass enclosure, and it was dirty as well.
After requesting a room change, the staff member who showed us the new room seemed laid-back and unkempt, which didn’t inspire much confidence. While this second room was better than the first, it still needed significant improvements. It was dusty, and the outdoor furniture was rusted. On the positive side, the view was lovely, and the bathroom was acceptable, but that’s where the compliments end.
Another downside was the lack of drinking water in the room—just a basic selection of tea and coffee. At $400 a night, it certainly wasn’t worth it, and I don’t recommend staying here unless significant renovations are made.

Checked in and went down town. Got back to our room around 9PM and discovered our room had no aircon. Bronte (Concierge) delivered the best service I have seen in a while. Moved us promptly to another room and triple checked the new room was up to standard. Great work Bronte and great work Treasury. This is the reason I like to stay there.
