Good place to camp if you're looking for a place near by to Seal Rocks. Not exactly close enough to walk with all your gear, but definitely a close drive to the main beaches.
$88 for 2 weekend nights for 2 people. The facilities are clean and never full, which is great.
There are no designated camping spots, it's a bit of a free for all so make sure to get there early in the day if you want a flat spot for your tent. There's a lovely sand dune to watch the sunset from and a shortish walk to a beach for swimming and surfing.
Lots of mosquitos and monitors that have no problem with boundaries.

The last few ks of road once you go past the post office/shop it turns to very badly maintained dirt. Once you get to the campground the roads get better. I was camping but the cabins look really nice but I'm not sure how much they were.
It was $22 per person, all camping is unpowered. The caravan park down the road was $77 but only had powered, what a rip off.
There are only a couple of toilet shower blocks so if you don't have your own toilet you may wasn't to base your location around that.
The showers were fantastic! But are busy early evenings.
Heaps of goannas and bush turkeys. Mosquito's weren't too bad but I stayed away from the swamp in the middle just in case.
Got a little lost crossing the dune to get to the beach ha ha so many footprints going nowhere but all good I got there in the end and it was lovely, just a few surfers and a few campers sunbathing. There is vehicle access but you take a side road before you get to the park.
Ice is only $5 but the firewood was $17 for like 6 large pieces, almost more than the camping fee. (there wouldn't have been enough wood to collect)
I enjoyed my night there and would definitely go back.

Overpriced and overcrowded. Loads of people only there to party, it’s loud until very late, with people turning up after midnight to setup camp. Also considering how expensive it is, the amenities are very basic, and charging a dollar for the privilege of using the bbq is almost insulting. The camp isn’t very tidy either. There’s much better value campsites not too far away, including national parks ones.

If lizards and the occasional bird aren't an issue for you then this camp site is perfect. Very close to the beach for a good swim and nice overall location. Road to the site is a bit bumpy hence my 4 stars.

Would not recommend unless you are looking to surf. Much better campgrounds elsewhere. There are Alot of mosquitoes and midges. Not much air breeze. Campground was very stuffy- did camp over summer period. Not allocated sites- people tend to spread out too much at the good spots- staff do not patrol this. Alot of young surfer groups getting drunk and rowdy at night- swearing and shouting. Again staff don't monitor this. Showers are very hot and no way of changing the temperature- though pressure is very good and ample time. Road into campsite is unkept and really should be sealed considering how many cars use it. Only beach near the campsite worth swimming if not planning to surf is lighthouse beach and sugarloaf beach. Number 1 beach was underwhelming and treachery beach not worth the walk, too rough for swimming. Also humidity in the summer period we went was 90% or higher. Wouldn't recommend camping during this period. Nights were long and hot.

Large camping area with a communal kitchen, flush toilets, and showers. Ice and firewood are available at the reception. You may spot some goannas and bush turkeys wandering around the campsite, but don't worry, they're harmless and just looking for a snack.

Camped for one night. Agree with prior reviews that the lax enforcement of site occupancy and night noise overtakes the positives (gorgeous wild beach, lots of wildlife). We were kept awake until 2am by a group of 20 drunk boomers who couldn’t have cared less. And it wasn’t just them—It’s a party campground.

Fairly disappointing, having heard lots of good things we were looking forward to a camping holiday. On arrival, the place was overbooked and poorly organised. No designated camp sites meant some people could spread out, whilst others struggled to find a level camping spot. Amenities were very basic. Very overpriced. Beautiful location and great wildlife spotting.
