A big thank you to Allan, Jack and the boys @ Upper Ross Men's Shed Inc for doing such a fantastic job in restoring our daughter’s rocking horse which was 38 years old.
She wanted to pass it on to her youngest baby who just turned 1 years old.
Her daughter is loving her new horse.
These men are very talented. I highly recommend paying these guys a visit.

Townsville Mens Shed is an Australian Mens Shed Association Member.
Townsville Mens Shed is one of Three tents in the Community centre on Charters Towers Rd.

TMS is open to the Male demographic those over the age of 18.
Opening weekdays until 12pm.

The men's shed is a governing committee directed non for profit Organisation. All work conducted at the premises is of a volunteer directed workforce.
All trade and Questions for assistance considered.
Of the club the men are approachable for odd jobs in all forms that meet the needs of the community and our dedicated workshops.
Both woodworking and an established Machine shop are considerations as to scope of abilities with wooden furniture and items for minor repair/restoration among the jobs enquireable.

Mens Shed is considered a independent organisation or cumunty supported group. We solely run on a donation type funding stream.
All offers of assistance considered within reason.
Donated goods and assistance in all forms big and small helps keep the annuals to a minimum, resulting in the ability to provide this network of support to the community.
Administration is the best way of contact for a direct answer on inquires or approach the shed before 12pm on site Monday to Friday.

Had trouble finding someone to do some small carpentry repairs in our Motorhome as we traveled through Townsville. Decided to check the Mens Shed and Col was most helpful and generous with his assistance to us. Spent about an hour fixing our issues and refused to take any money. Great community minded people whose help we appreciated very much. Best wishes Col for the great work you do. Big thank you from the Brown Nomads!
