We stayed at this park for one night while traveling from Cairns to Brisbane. The park is in a lovely spot by the lake, but the fence blocked the view. There was a sports field nearby, and that evening they had a rugby game, so we heard loud music until 10 pm. Each spot in the park has its own bathroom, but they are old and need fixing up. Next to the park, there is a hotel with a nice restaurant, a coffee shop, and many fast food places.

Nice location in center of Townsville with swimming pool and near a nice lake. Lots of green on food or breakfast but sufficient eating in the area. There are bbq options and everything is nice and clean.

The price-performance-ratio was very good for a camping site with your own, private shower and toilet facilities. Also the staff was very kind.

Everything about this place we liked we had a shade from trees and the lake to see on the other side walking distance to food shop's they are doing the place up and office we're very helpful enjoy the place

Poorly designed and fitted out ensuite. No hooks, water runs throughout, windows permanently open facing neighbouring sites. So it sounds like your neighbour is going to the toilet next to your van - because they are. I wouldn't describe the 'lake' as particularly scenic nor that the site was 'lake view'. Bit of a concrete jungle. WiFi was useless. Rubbish overflowing out of the bins.
