Kitchen is being renovated, so limited menu. Hubby had prawn & scallop pie which was tasty & I had roast pork. I asked Hubby did he order half serving as the meal was more a kid's portion. Meat was typical rolled pork, one slice of meat, gravy & undercooked veggies. Not very pleasant to eat.

Had a few drinks and ordered dinner. Even though there is only a limited menu due to kitchen being renovated our meals were wonderful. Order Chicken Snit and Beer Battered Flathead, with chips, salad and veges. Staff friendly. Thank you 😊

$25 chefs special batterd flat head n prawns. Not special at all. 2 little fish fingers and 3 small batterd prawns ,dose not cut it I'm sorry. Still hungry!!! + 10% sur charge . Not happy. Wasn't much effort or apology when I said something to staff in kitchen... 😡😡

Please keep in mind that clientele that were at the Torquay were extremely happy. The place was pumping and there was loud laughter ringing out through the bar.

If you want to go somewhere with alcohol-fuelled merriment, you may find this place to your liking.

It just wasn't my scene. I mean, the service was great and you're right across from the beach. It's got a lot going for it.

Standard hotel/pub. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Drinks were cold and wet. Atmosphere was like a pub. What more do you want from a pub? They have done the basics brilliantly and can’t be faulted for that! Would defo come again for a drink 🙂

It's a short stay but a beautiful experience to ever remember, loved every moment in and out. The food was great and very pocket friendly. It was a great view for us and a nice place, if you are looking for an escape to spend that lovely weekend with your spouses. Give yourself a treat.
