Had dinner here. The beers and drinks cold and service excellent. Ordered seafood basket with chips and salad. Meal was so big could only eat half. Value for money

DINNER - such a friendly and welcoming hotel.|The meals were all 10/10......steak, rack of lamb, chicken salad and chicken breast with mushroom sauce.|Good portion sizes too. |Collie dog keeps a watchful eye on the locals and the city dewellers that come through town .

Enjoyed my stay, would have been better if the huge TV had worked and I hadn’t been locked out at 10pm on a Saturday night after an enjoyable night at the Cinema (50 yards away)!!

It's a country pub, know that going in. Rooms, clean and tidy, had everything we needed. Meals brilliant, staff friendly and helpful. Loved it. Thanks for looking after us so well.

This is one of the nicest country hotels we've ever stayed in. The building may be old but it was super clean and very well maintained. The service was exceptional from delightful friendly staff who went out of their way to make our stay very enjoyable. Highly recommend staying here if you're in the area.
