We booked this house for 3 couples and it is fully equipped with all the essentials. Spacious bedrooms, well equipped kitchen, large comfortable living room with Austar, and the backyard pool area is like you're at one of those tropical resorts. Enjoyed the fruit platter and breakfast supplied everyday. Service was great! Thanks Glenn for accomodating to our needs and suggesting great places to go to around Cairns. Location is short drive to airport, cairns city and a few beaches. Very convenient. We had a great time staying here!

We booked the hole house for our family gathering and it was just perfect! Breakfast supplies made us feel totally at home, just enjoying the sun and the beautiful BBQ/pool garden at the back of the house. Everything was absolutely spotless, rooms super comfortable and it was coupled with a warm friendly service. Location is very handy as a point of departure for other beaches and city center, especially if you have a car, which makes it easier to do groceries and fully enjoy the surroundings. Not sure if it'd be as handy for walkers and because it's only a 10-minute drive from the airport, there is noise from the airplanes approaching/leaving it. But the windows are sound-proof enough and would definitely recommended it if you're after comfort, cleanliness and peace! We had a blast.

This is a beautiful place to stay. It is a wonderful house and the garden to die for and as a bonus a wonderful pool. We stayed here for a week on a family holiday. Every morning we were left a wonderful platter of fresh fruit and wondeful breakfast and defiantly dd not need lunch. We were given and very warm and friendly service. Glen and Michael were very generous with their time. They really helped us enjoy the area it is full. Letting us know where to go and what to enjoy. Could not recommend this place enough, Thanks to you both we had a wonderful time.

Slipping into the warm and inviting embrace of Toby's Reteat was like bumping into an old friend. The service was intimate and lacked in no regard. Nothing was to good for us according to the manager. Breakfasts were sumptuous and filling - no need for lunch. The pool and garden area are well maintained. The sun never seems to set in Holloways Beach. Evenings by the pool and banqueting pavilion with a well appointed BBQ area will be a treasured memory always. Well done Toby's Reteat - is there nothing you can't do right?

I was at Toby's Retreat for 5 daysand had a great time despite the rain. The host Glen is lots of fun and very generous with his time. The B&B is out of Cairns central so you will need a car.||The lush garden had a nice gazebo and pool and the hosts live in a separate building so I did not feel I was living in their home.||I would stay there again.

This place was amazing and very relaxing with a lovely swimming pool for a splash when it's a hot day. Beautiful garden which is great to chill out in. Really comfortable rooms. I will be back next time I'm in Australia.
