We dropped by at this place unplanned and it was one of the few cafes that were open on a Tuesday at the location. Though unplanned the choice of eating there unforgettable. The place has some really good breakfast options and obviously some pretty yummy cakes. The caffeine was spot-on. We liked the burgers. The place is a bit cramped of space but if you find a spot you'll like it.

I find it astounding that the "toast and co" have received such negative comments.
In my experience, I've only been met with smiles and warmth from the staff. I need a strong coffee in the morning and Stephanie always delivers on this. Much appreciated. Her Ma does a great toasted sandwich, thanks Ma, cos the attention to detail is what I like, for example, you give 5 cheeses with the mushroom ? who wouldn't like that.
Well, I give the joint 5 stars on every level. Thank you. ? Cheers Chelsea

Went here last week with my partner. My BAE was fantastic and the coffee delicious.
The only issue was my partner had brioche with blueberries and bacon and the bread was wet and soggy from the blueberry and excessive sauce, also they were cooked so the heat didn't help the situation.
I'm giving it a 4 tho as I didn't eat the brioche and mine was fab.

I took my Aunty and god daughter to this cafe. There were only 2 people sitting outside when we got there. We ordered 2 coffees, a sandwich and a cake. I took my 6 year old god daughter across the road to get a KFC go bucket. When we came back and she opened it waiting for our food, the lady came out aggressively and said ‘you can’t sit here, how rude do you think that is eating other food here. You’ll have to get take away.’ We explained we’ve ordered food and coffees, she proceeded to say ‘you can’t order food from somewhere else and sit here. You’ll have to have take away.’ We requested to have our money back, she stormed inside, said it would have to be cash and basically threw it in my hand, with the coins flying everywhere and she stormed back mumbling under her breath as I picked them up. I will never go to this cafe ever again due to the incredibly rude server and I have told multiple other people about our terrible experience and they’ve gone to other cafes. Completely unnecessary.

Nice clean street cafe. I had two eggs on sourdough wth bacon and mushrooms. Food cooked perfectly, only criticism is that the sourdough was tough to cut through with the butter knives provided, steak knives would work better. Iced coffee was SPECTACULAR and worth a visit for that alone!

I bought a coffee from here. Sitting outside halfway through and got yelled at from inside and told to leave when my special needs company in wheelchair came to sit with me with his KFC. When I enquired staff about this I was rudely told there was a no KFC policy written in the menu. I told them We were planning to buy dessert and was rudely told ‘I should have asked first!’ I had been there 20 minutes and no menu on outside tables and not offered one. Also the tables were almost empty outside.

I can't rate the service or atmosphere as I had breakfast delivered. But the food was amazing for the price
