This place was lovely. The cottage was so comfortable, warm and had everything you needed. You can enjoy walking anywhere on the property including platypus watching down at the river. It is an easy walk into town if you don’t feel like driving. We loved having a bath outside watching the stars and enjoying a glass of wine at the end of the day. Would love to go back and would highly recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing stay.

There is so much to love about this place! The beautiful cottages, the quiet, peaceful location, the friendly Alpacas. The owner is wonderful and explained how things worked while dropping off a jar of homemade biscuts! The hot tub was brilliant and sitting back in the quiet, under the stars was a real treat! So many great places to take a picnic rug and relax next to the river. When people are passionate about what they're doing it really shines through and it's obvious that the owners really care about their property. We can't wait to return!

We have a lovely stay in Fon Hok. The owners were lovely and the accommodations were nice and clean. The bed was comfortable and we absolutely loved the privacy and outdoor bath. We won't hesitate to stay here again. The bushwalking was nice and the local pub had a good meal.

Just wow! This is exceptional! After travelling around Australia for 3 years you rarely find a campsite this good. The river flowing right in front of your campsite, water, Starlink wifi and power being set up for future campers this place is a dream. The owners Graham and James provided a warm welcome and good bye. There was a fire decent fire bucket and wood was provided. We will be back! If you’re into mountain biking it’s 8 minutes from Derby. If camping/caravanning is not your thing there are private cottages with spas and the river is accessible. I recommend you do not miss this exceptional camp. A sauna and plunge pool is being built and will be available in the future.

An awesome getaway!
We stayed 4 nights as a young family and loved it. Stayed in the Ah Ping cottage and it was spacious, clean and well equipped to be self sufficient. Relaxed outside each morning to soak up the sunshine whilst watching the alpacas and listening to nature.

We came for mountain biking and enjoyed the space, quietness and serenity - and only 10 minutes drive from Derby.
10 mins walk to the IGA and a lovely cafe and two great restaurants.

Family-run, warm hospitality from Graham, Christine and James (and little pup Fraser) and eco-friendly.

My most pleasant stay anywhere, ever. Perfect for those riding Derby too! We spent wonderful 3 nights here. The cottage was well equipped with fully functional kitchen and washing machine. It was amazing being able to return here after a day of mountain biking, wash our clothing, enjoy the spacious shower, and relax by the gas fireplace. The property is gorgeous and has a lovely little walking track by the river too. Highly recommend!

We stayed there for 3 days and we absolutely loved that place.

Cottage was well equipped and it was beautiful.

We really enjoyed the outdoor spa. It's an ideal place for star gazing as well, but unfortunately, it was cloudy in the night when we were there.

Our host Graham was very friendly and he gave us a tour around his property showing us his mini hydro generating plant and the rooftop solar system. On the following day, he took us to feed the Alpacas.

Both Graham and Cristine are lovely and told us the beautiful places around that area to visit.

We highly recommend this place and we look forward to visit this place again.

Spent 4 nights in a 2 bedroom cottage for an all inclusive Art and Botany retreat. I couldn't fault the whole experience. Accommodation was warm, all you needed if you were catering for yourselves. Christine, Graham and James couldn't do enough for you. The area was picturesque complete with alpacas. We had superb meals. Our tutor Dr Tanya was a great personality, an expert in her field. It was a superb Retreat. Thank you.
