One heat pump for the whole place plus leather lounges, soo cold. Heater in bathroom didn't work. Tiny fridge, stove hotplates have no thermostat so keep too hot to cook on. Certainly not worth the money, needs a lot of maintenance.

Booked through the Great Western Tiers Visitor information Centre. We had the rear cottage which has 3 bedrooms (1 Queen, 2 singles and 1 double). It was a reasonably priced, clean, well equipped, with nice clean sheets. It had a spa bath (we didn't use it). It provided a quiet comfortable place for our family of 5 to sleep.

Only "complaints"... 1/ there was no "cheap" instant coffee (but plenty of the posh Jarrah-style sachets with creamer) 2/ no "normal" soap (only liquid soap). Maintenance-wise the bathroom floor and rear ramp will need a bit of work soon, but I'm sure the owner knows this.

Would definitely stay again.

We had the pleasure of staying in both of the cottages. We thought cottage No 1 was perfect (2 bedrooms). Later, we stayed in the cottage No 2 (3 bedrooms) and it was better still - being larger, having a spa and a wonderful view. Nothing was wanting in either cottage, well furnished, clean, fresh linen. They were self contained, even with a free washing machine. A light breakfast was supplied, with ample cereal, milk bread etc. We enjoyed reading the history of the cottages (they are old and have been well renovated). The staff were very helpful, friendly and obliging. VERY GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY

We are a group of cyclists who love cycling in Tasmania and have passed through Deloraine several times. The times we have spent the night in Deloraine we've stayed in these cottages. The cottages are conveniently managed from the service station across the road making it simple to check in. As we mentioned to the staff, it feels like we are coming home. ||On one of our trips it was a bigger group so we had both cottages. ||||The kitchens are well appointed with everything you need. It is good how food items by previous guests are left there for other guests to use should they choose, we used some. We also left what we didn't require as we were catching the Spirit of Tasmania the next evening.

looking for accommodation in Deloraine I visited the tourist information office. They recommended the Tier View Cottage. The cottage has 2 bed rooms, kitchen and family room. We stayed in number 1 cottage and the cottage was very neat and tidy. Continental breakfast supplies were plentiful, including fresh eggs. The heater supplied is insufficient on cold nights. The other option is to light the open fire. Wood etc. is supplied. The beds are fitted with electric blankets. Parking is no problem and is at the rear of the cottage.

We stayed 3 nights. Such a lovely cottage. Spacious and comfortable. There was everything we needed. Kitchen and laundry was great. Lovely bathroom and bedrooms. The view from the verandah was amazing. We were in the back cottage. We had the makings for breakfast. I would definitely recommend this as a great place to stay.

These are two beautifully renovated federation timber cottages. We stayed in the one set back well off the road...a three bedroom gem which felt very much like home. We only stayed for two nights, but it would be an excellent place to base yourself for a longer visit to the region.||There were delightful touches...magazines, a basket of delicious goodies,a box of toys...washing machine and dryer..||As the guest book shows, no one can fault the place!

Cottage 1, this cottage is like visiting your Grandma. Nice and cosy and feels like a home away from home. Great price for couples and families and in the main street, so close to everything. |The kitchen is equipped with all cooking facilities and the laundry has a washer and dryer. A must stay if you're in Deloraine.
