What an incredible experience we had staying at Thirlestane Farm. We had the pleasure of being able to hold our wedding there and Tee made us feel so at home. Tee and her husband Stephen are some of the nicest people we have met and the way they look after their property just shows the pride they have for it. How lucky we are to have a place to go back to and celebrate our anniversaries. I cannot recommend them enough, your stay at Thirlestane farm will be one to remember.

Loved the property, as a big family we must say that this is a very family friendly place, lots of things for the children to do and we all had so much fun!

The barn & cottage were very clean with all the amenities we needed (and if we needed anything else, Tee, the owner, would accomodate our requests) and there's so much space outside to enjoy.

The location is good if you're driving as it's just a 5-10 min drive to town, any groceries you need are easily accessible. Fresh eggs, spices & any pots/pans were provided in the kitchen as well.

I booked Thirlestane Farm for a ladies weekend away and it surpassed all of our expectations. There was plenty of space and breakout spaces for a group of 7.

The accommodation is completed to such a high level with an amazing level of detail that makes you feel instantly at home.

We couldn't decide what we loved more - The outdoor cinema, the outdoor dining and fire pits or of course spending time with the highland & guernsey cows or friendly chickens.

A massive thank you to our hosts Tee and Stephen who were so accommodating and more than happy to share the tales of the property and residents with us.

If I could rate this beautiful, thoughtful property higher I would without hesitation. Every detail of The Barn and Cottage exceed expectations. Tee and Stephen are generous and thoughtful hosts who give you privacy but meet every need with kindness and warmth.
I travel through rural Qld and nth NSW a lot as a wholesale manager for an iconic Australian brand that’s all about people like Tee and Stephen. I love meeting clever, kind, authentic people and look for heartfelt and lovingly restored properties to conduct seasonal showings. It was a wonderful experience for my buyers and myself in every way. This amazing property is special. So special I don’t want anyone to know about it.
Take the time, relax and enjoy. Make sure you spend time with the beautiful cows.

Thirlestane farm is one of the most relaxing and beautiful places we have stayed. We visited for a long weekend and did not want to leave. The accommodation was spacious and clean and tastefully decorated. It was magical to wake up with kangaroos and to see the sunset with the cows. This was a wonderful family getaway and we will definitely be back. It was also very close to Noosa for walks and swimming and Cooroy township is nearby with all the necessities. Thank you so much

We cannot thank the Thirlestane Farm team enough for opening their beautiful property to us and our family. Our elopement could not have been more perfect, we didn’t want to leave!
The kids had endless space to run and play, and so many animals see. So family friendly, absolutely stunning views and landscape, the accomodation was beautiful and had everything we needed and more!
We had our ceremony on the lawn in front of the arbour, where a kookaburra sat in the tree and watched on haha and 2 of the gorgeous highlander cows made perfect timing coming all the way up to the gate for photos! It was amazing!
Couldn’t recommend Tee and the team and this property highly enough. If you’re looking for an elopement or micro wedding location this is it.

This Property is a rare gem. High up on the ridge, views that can’t be described and accomodation that serves as a true treat and retreat from the daily grind. Attention to detail, quality everything and so much space to genuinely reconnect with nature and enjoy quality family time. Some might even call it a spiritual cleanser. Love it.
