Tucked right by Oxford Street, THEECA is the kind of spot that makes you want to slow down and enjoy your morning. The pancakes were soft and fluffy with a generous dollop of cream and jam — sweet but balanced. The omelette plate and grilled sandwich were fresh, simple, and satisfying.

Bonus: outdoor seating under autumn leaves? Instant mood. 🍂

This place is an absolute gem and easily one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Darlinghurst. The menu is well-curated with an exceptional range of wines and beautifully prepared dishes. I went with the seafood selection, which was incredibly fresh and full of flavour.

The interior fit-out is sleek, modern, and stylish—adding a really vibrant atmosphere that elevated the whole experience.

Overall, a fantastic spot for dinner and definitely a must-visit if you're in the area. I’ve also heard great things about their pancakes, so I’m planning to come back and try them for brunch next time!

beautiful little spot in darlinghurst! we ordered the:

- signature almond milk brew
- orange juice
- sencha
- toast (gluten free n) with 2 boiled eggs and smoked salmon
- roasted pear and gruyere cheese salad with added bacon

the ambience combined with the delicate food was a great start to a monday morning! service was fast as it wasn’t too busy when we went

the almond milk brew, while a little strange at first, grows on you as it has woody undertones. the orange juice was tangy/citrusy, and the sencha wasn’t too strong

the toast with modifications was simple yet delicious, especially considering I ordered it to be gluten free

the pear salad is what was the most stunning however - it was beautifully balanced with the dressing and different elements. simple yet executed extremely well

the location and aesthetics are beautiful both inside and outside - very relaxing and spacious

lost a star due to front of house being a little impatient when I was trying to order, however I don’t fault them as they seemed to be new. I also think when busy, this place may be a little slow as you have to order at the counter and that can be quite chaotic if there’s a queue

would highly recommend coming over and visiting

Overall it was a good experience here. The service was top notch, didn’t have to wait to be seated. Pancake it nothing special, but it’s really cool to look at. Big breakfast is delicious and savory. Mocha and white flat coffees were okay as well. Overall, I recommend but it’s nothing to write home about.

I ordered famous pancake. Best pancake I've ever eaten. You should go and try. Coffee was also great! Not too strong but plenty of aroma. Atmosphere was awesome. Well balanced age groups.

I finally visited the cafe known for having the best pancakes in Sydney—and it did not disappoint!
I was amazed at how well the pancakes with maple syrup and bacon worked together—such an unexpectedly delicious combination. I also tried a roti-style flatbread served with chicken liver? (can’t remember) wasn’t really my thing, but overall, the experience was great. Lovely atmosphere and definitely worth a visit!

However, I think the people working there were not the most friendly.
I thought it was a shame as it was a lovely restaurant with a good signature menu.

The seats were packed together to accommodate customers, so it was a little uncomfortable. Well, it's probably a busy store, so I guess it can't be helped?

We’re from Melbourne and my partner is a huge pancake lover, so when we heard about ‘the best pancakes in town,’ we had to check it out and they didn’t disappoint! The service was great, and the staff were friendly and attentive.
