REALLY Stunning meals, awesome beer and wine list, great kids areas, beautiful outdoor seats and garden, top music and vibes… a very well looked after and well run establishment.

You can tell these guys truely care about how this venue runs.

Lovely food made with care. Honestly can’t speak highly enough of our experience tonight. Mid week dinner and drinks with mates. All there with family and kids. We ant recommend YSH highly enough.

We used the function space to deliver a seminar about autism/disability. The space was great and the staff were amazing. So helpful, friendly and engaging. They also took a keen interest in our seminar and went out of their way to congratulate us on our advocacy work. Cannot more highly recommend the Young St Hotel. Such a wonderful experience. We hire function spaces all over Australia and this was one of our best experiences

Great food, cold drinks, friendly staff and big timber tables outside. What more could you want! A play area for the kids ? They’ve got that covered too.

Food is hit and miss. Pizzas are good. Staff are always friendly and have good humour. Trivia is always fun.

Easy parking. Specials meals were not as good as other pubs. The pizzas were heavy on the tomato sauce, light on the toppings. Drinks were dearer than other pubs in the area.

We celebrated a very special birthday last nite (29/07/24). The hotel was buzzing - a big crowd to watch Australia play in the hockey at the Olympics.
The food and service was amazing. We had a special room for our celebrations and the staff went out of their way to make this a special night for our family. “Welcome to Carrodise” resonated with us all. Thank you

My partner and I are on a jag of "Let's try something new". We used to go to the Young Street Hotel under its previous ownership when it was higher end dining. Wow. Has it nosedived!! We walked into the restaurant area that has now been "kiddy-fied" and we were deafened by children screaming. Some were in a room off the main dining area, treating the furniture like jumping castles. We retreated to the front bar and ordered our food. And then we waited... and waited... Our shared entree of pork belly bites was OK but ordinary. We waited another half hour or more (my partner works from home and had a Zoom meeting coming up) and our mains turned up. I had the entree size Rare Beef Tataki. It was actually a largish serve for an entree, but it was tough and completely lacking in flavour. My partner's fish and chips were average but a bit on the small size and lacking in flavour. Add a Coke and a glass of red wine and the bill hit $96.77. Add a second glass of wine and the bill went over $100. For an extremely ordinary meal with long wait times and screaming kids. We wont be back.

We had a lovely Sunday afternoon at the Young St Hotel. The customer service is spot on, attentive, fast, and friendly. Right down to noticing we were in the hot sun and arranging the outdoor umbrella for us.
