the place isnt much to look at, but the food , coffee and the service was fantastic. i highly recommend this place if you are ever in the area.

My wife and I were on our way to the local smash room so we decided to go here for breakfast and we were not disappointed.
the prices were reasonable, especially for the serving sizes.
i got the yard big breakfast and my wife got the smoked salmon stack, we both got decaf lattes on oat milk with vanilla.

the service was so friendly, greeted with a smile and friendly conversation. the food was fresh, it looked to be done by a husband and wife team and the food came out at a relatively timely pace, it was fresh, tasty and delicious. the highlight of the meal of the big breakfast was definitely the chutney which was fresh and tangy and delicious.
the fritters on the stack were moist and delicious and the salmon was very fresh.

everything was amazing and its really hard to find decaf coffee thats good but theirs definitely was and they didn't overdo it on the vanilla.

we will definitely be back here again, for sure.

Came here for breakfast. Waited 20 minutes for our food despite the place not being busy. I ordered the pancakes, the pancakes were EXTREMELY undercooked in the middle, my partner asked them to make them again.

Second lot took about 10 minutes to come out, and the pancakes are still extremely undercooked in the middle. I ended up having to eat the outer edges as this was at least cooked, but the middle was still so doughy that it was inedible.

Been coming here for years, unfortunately new ownership has seen a downturn.

Coffee is average, food is slow and often portion sizes are tiny. Seating is rickety, hard to recommend.

I got the fritters, which tasted like dirty fry oil and my egg was verging on raw. My partner got the burger which tasted like the same dirty oil and had a piece of plastic in it!!! We both dined in and got drinks which were served in plastic cups. Was terribly overpriced for the quality of food. I’m assuming it’s changed hands at some point recently and has taken a downhill dive. Absolutely would not recommend.

Stopped by on our road trip for a meal. Food was mediocre and there were lots of flies around.

Ordered the big breakfast ($22), halloumi stack ($18) and french toast ($16) to share. Mediocre food, but corn fritters in the halloumi stack was extremely poor and had a sour taste.

Found 2 hairs in our food as well but did not report to cafe as we were in a rush. Would not return!

My wife and I drove past this little "out of the way" cafe and thought we should try it. We went today and I was impressed. It was a cosy little cafe with a nice feel to it. I liked that the decor was minimal otherwise the cafe would have felt too overcrowded. Coffee came quick and was well made. I had the Protein Pancakes and they tasted great although I would have preferred them to be a little thicker. It came a good portion of strawberries and although a little too sweet for my taste the rhubarb jam was nice (I expected a little bitterness from it). My wife had the french toast and we were impressed with the size! We both thought the ice cream elemrnt with an egg based element was a bit odd but that just meant more ice cream for my pancakes! One minor complaint was that the aircon was up a little too high making the small cafe quite cold. All in all a great little cafe and one we will return to!

Great tasty breakfast at a cute little spot in Ipswich. Coffee was well made, not burnt almond milk went well in it. Ipswich is seriously lacking in decent cafe options and I hope this place keeps up the good work so we have somewhere nice to go that is close to home.

The food was absolutely amazing. It may have taken 20 minutes but it was worth the wait. Considering that he was the only one there he did an amazing job. Will definitely come back. 😊😊😊
