Friendly welcome, at a truly iconic Australian Pub.
Open 10am ' 1pm
Reopen 5pm till late.
Remember to be polite and courteous,
Buy a beer or a souvenir, then take a few photos.....
Spending a few dollars here, helps fabulous places like this alive for future generations.

Stopped in for a beer on the way through Port Hedland and really liked this place. They had a great range of beers on tap, plenty of screens showing sports, pool tables, and TAB. The bar looks amazing and the service was great. Food looked excellent, especially the pizzas, though I didn’t order anything myself. Great outdoor area too.

Really big servings here for lunch. Three of us had the Chicken Parma and we struggled to finish, with the steak sandwich meal was hefty too. Quality of food is good, plenty of seating spaces as well as a kids area. Plenty of beers on tap and lots of sports being shown at all times.

Best thing about the food is the prawn & chorizo pizza 🍕 & the dirty deep-fried chips. That's it.
Could be heaps better, but there's nowhere else to go, so nothing will change.

This is a busy pub. The pizza was nice not the best I have had. A lot of topping but only in the center of pizza. Loads of pool tables

Thai beef salad was not even supposed to have 1 star. The taste was just pure sweetness with uncooked vermicelli noodles its not worth the money.in fairnes a year ago or so this menu was to die for I guess diff chef made it.
I just ate the overcooked beef.

I mean, it's a miners pub in Hedland andnits been a miners pub in Hedland its whole life. Dont come here thinking its merrywell and you'll have a great time.

Meals are huge, beers are cold and the staff are good.

Can't thank Kathy & her team at The Walkie for enough for their fantastic service and delicious pizzas for our team to acknowledge 2024 Rail R U Okay Day. I came to Kathy pretty last minute (the morning of) hoping she would be able to help me out with a big pizza order and that she did! Thank you so much Kathy and your team, the pizzas were delicious as usual!
