John’s guest house is such a lovely retreat. Beautifully appointed with everything you need for a short stay. Super comfortable bed with linen sheets, and the most divine armchair ever! John was a lovely host and made me feel welcome from the outset. He was only too happy to accommodate my request for early check-in and was able to recommend local eateries, galleries etc. The seven sheep and 3 geese who also live on the farm make perfect companions for a rural getaway.

We had such a beautiful stay last week. John was incredibly responsive and helpful during our stay with lots of helpful tips of were to go nearby. With some local goodies gifted in the fridge

The house is magnificent!
It has a wrap around balcony with beautiful views into the valley and out into the farmlands. Which we enjoyed many a glass of wine staring out into the beautiful valley whilst the rain came down.
The bedrooms were large and all beds were very comfortable with beautiful linen sheets and gorgeous views. The bathrooms were very neat and tidy and large laundry room.
The kitchen probably has to be my dream kitchen! With beautiful views and large bench space. We even bought some local coffee beans and used the espresso machine to make our own cappuccinos!
The sheep were very friendly and often greeted us at the fence, there are also geese and chickens and the occasional cattle grazing in the near by paddocks up the back
Our dog bonnie had a beautiful time in the yard and felt just at home

Probably the best kept secret in Tilba Central - a very comfortable, quaint farmstay within walking distance of the pub, cheese factory, lolly shop and bakery… what more could you possibly need?
Explore the south coast from a great base suitable for the whole family. Enjoy all the usual mod cons, lovely rooms, great views and friendly farm friends.

We loved the house, the massive living area, the cleanliness and the quality of the items within the house - from the beds through to the TVs and kitchen. Being able to walk to the local pub for a great dinner experience, and into the town to wander around.
Part of the reason for our stay was related to a dog show in Bermagui - so we have a range of dogs with us, so the pet friendly component was ideal for us with secure fencing, places for the dogs to run and all the equipment etc to clean up after them.

Loved our short stay here. Beautiful outlook, rooms, living area, super comfy beds and access to Tilba shops. Was awesome being able to feed the sheep and watch them during the day.

An incredible property and an amazing host! From the get go John did everything he could to make our stay magical. Fantastic communication and so very helpful. The property is serene, with cows, sheep, geese and chickens making it a great little farm stay right near the historic town of Cental Tilba.

The house has a lovely outlook across a valley to the town of Tilba. Well appointed bedrooms and a kitchen with all the appliances you need. Lovely quality linen and bathroom towels. There are geese, chooks and cattle in nearby paddocks too. A relaxing and comfortable place for a family holiday, not far from the beach.
