We stayed at the Thirsty Farmer and highly recommend it! Rooms were spotless, beautifully styled, and very comfortable. The pub has a large family friendly beer garden, great for the kids to play, enjoying an epic game of footy on the lawn, after a long day in the car. Our Steaks were sensational and great selection of beer and wine. An awesome pub with great service, well worth the visit!

I stayed at the Thirsty Farmer for one night when passing through Baradine. The hotel and pub are nestled in a beautiful and historic country style building on the main road, a short walk to shops and services.
The team was very welcoming and friendly when checking me in. Room and common areas including amenities and veranda seating are all clean and looked after.
I had dinner at the bar downstairs which offered great meal options. The Chicken Parmigiana was delicious and the best I had in a long time. It was great having a chat with the locals over dinner. I highly recommend a stay while in the area.

What refreshing surprise after a hard days work. We provide Ag Tech Drone solutions for local farmers and came across this Hotel and had a fabulous meal and great yarns with the locals. The food was superb and great value. Service was first class and what a credit to the owners Alexander and Christine.

We arrived on a Tuesday and it was so easy to put the work down and enjoy a cold white wine on that beautiful balcony. Our rooms were nicely made up, the whole hotel looks recently refurbished while staying true to historic local character. The Thirsty Farmer Hotel is high quality yet affordable accommodation with a really warm welcome by all the staff. Couldn’t have asked for more, so loved our stay, and hope to be back soon.

Great pub nestled on the foothills of the Warrumbungle mountains. We stayed two great nights in the hotel rooms upstairs. Took the kids for a beautiful bush walk in the morning and was back in time for a delicious lunch. Hot tip- order the angus beef burger, it’s fresh and very moreish! The staff were all so accommodating and lovely. There was a big backyard with a playground, swings and even chooks! My kids didn’t want to leave. We will definitely be back to The Thirsty Farmer
