Had dinner here this evening. The service was friendly and efficient. The place was very busy. The Scallops were divine. The Cheese burger was a bit dry. The Sausage rolls were tasty and the fish tacos were good. The Seniors Roast Pumpkin Salad was really bland. The pumpkin was in large pieces next to the salad. It would have been wonderful if diced smaller and roasted till caramelized.

The state of the (men's) toilets ned urgent attention. They have been disgusting for years. There is not even a lock on the inside of the cubicle door. Also, we have been there a couple of times in the last couple of weeks and the beer garden is strewn with leaves and is very untidy. Looks like they haven't bothered to sweep up to make it look tidy. The owners of this venue need to take a close look at issues there and take steps to correct them. There is plenty of competition close by and I know I won't be returning to this venue any time soon. I'd rather spend my money at another venue which has a better offer. Seriously guys, you really need to lift your game.

Took my elderly parents for a drive and decided to have lunch here… whilst I understand being busy and not getting your meal quickly, a 45 minute wait for garlic bread is a little bit ridiculous.. the “4” pieces were in fact only 3 normal/ decent suzed, and 1 small end piece of bread.

The pizza I ordered was soggy, and the 2 seniors fish and chips (which took just on an hour to coke out) were incredibly over cooked.

Overall an incredibly disappointing 1st experience at what seemed to have been a really good establishment.

I went to the Stirling Arms Hotel to see a band that my daughter and son-in-law knew some of the members. They were a rock band doing covers and had everyone dancing... including me. I can't remember the bands name (sorry) but this venue has a lot of good bands on. There's a really good outdoor area too with lots of tables and heaters for the cold weather. They even have ashtrays on the tables.. it's civilised! Bar staff are friendly and helpful, and we had a really good night. Go check it out!

Perfect for weekend lunch and drinks with a few work girls. Staff very accommodating and friendly. Beautiful outside garden area.
One thing that could have made things even better, bigger tables for 3 people, felt like we were a bit cramped, were putting some things on the floor to make more room.

Had dinner for 3 before theatre across the road (gave us a discount as we had tickets!). What a feast!! Everything was delicious, fabulous pizza, fantastic burger, delicious pumpkin salad with cauliflower, and perfect coffee!
Friendly staff and great service, thank you for a great dinner experience!!

My wife and I attended a comedy night at Stirling Arms and had a great time. The venue has a fantastic vibe—perfect for relaxing or hosting an event. The food was well-presented and tasted great. Parking is available on the street or in the gravel lot behind the pub, and the venue is wheelchair accessible. The only downside was the cleanliness of the men’s toilets, which had an unpleasant smell and urine on the floor. Overall, it’s a great spot, and with better restroom maintenance, it would be even better!

We did not stay in the hotel side of things so i can not comment on that.

Great lunch yesterday once again. Really friendly staff , food was great . Scotch fillet excellent and nice not to be served on a bed of fries .
