The most perfect venue for our son and daughter in law’s wedding. So picture perfect and gorgeous. Owners, Louise and Andrew, were so accommodating and easy to deal with and the wedding organiser, Alicia, made everything run smoothly. The perfect wedding location! Louise and Andrew were amazing, giving us so much support, fantastic advice and great supplier recommendations. The Stables were stunning in the afternoon sun for cocktail hour, with wide open spaces and fresh air and at night, the fairly lights made the whole place feel magical. The photos were just beautiful and all of our guests raved about the pretty the place was.

What an amazing experience! The Stables of Somersby has so much to offer for the perfect wedding day!

Throughout planning, Louise (the lovely and oh so helpful owner) took the time to touch base throughout over the countdown and offered help with the process every chance she had, which was greatly appreciated during frazzled wedding planning.

Tahlia, the fabulous Coordinator, was great from start to finish before the wedding and coordinated the heck out of our wedding with our vendors in tow. On the wedding day, Tahlia worked with our vendors and brought together an amazing experience without us having to have any thought in the matter – so helpful and fab!

Our wedding was in December on a sunny day and the venue was stunning, complimented with a beautiful ambience and the scent of the blooming jasmine was lovely. It was amazingly coordinated and the vibe was just beyond something special – a dream for a wedding photographer and videographer.

To finish off the wedding day, the loft above the barn was a lovely stay; such a beautiful build and design, and there were pleasant amenities and an overly comfy bed.

Overall, The Stables of Somersby topped our expectations. We experienced wonderful quality of service through great communication, professionalism, friendliness, and amazing talent.

* Vendor friendly - all our vendors had the access points and space they needed to be able to do what they do best, carefully coordinated with Tahlia

* Dog friendly - we were allowed to bring our very well-behaved dogs along for the special occasion

We could not have imagined a better day than our wedding at The Stables! The space is incredible (lots of beautiful photo options) and I was almost disappointed to not take advantage of the wet weather option. Louise and Andrew were delightful from start to finish, where no request was too big or too small. The accommodation was perfect for everything we needed. Our friends and family were so impressed. We could have asked for nothing more

We just had our wedding at the beautiful Stables of Somersby. Louise, Andrew and Tahlia were a dream trio to work with in the lead up to our special day, and even more of a dream on the actual day (Tahlia was a magician, floating around making sure everything went to plan and even sneakily fixed my dress when the strap broke at our reception).

The location is simply stunning in all weather (we had it all), and makes for a much more relaxing day having everything on site; from the gorgeous loft for getting ready above the reception venue, to having the ceremony under the magical tree, photos around the grounds (including lake, trees, horses, barn) whilst our guests had cocktails and canapés under the pavilion, dancing the night away in the barn and finally stumbling upstairs after a perfect day. We fell in love with the fairy lights and rustic vibe, and also loved that it was mostly DIY, so we could make the day our own. We organised for our guests to stay at the Mantra in Ettalong and had a bus to pick up and drop everyone to the venue, as there isn't many accomodation options around Somersby. I've heard of others doing the same but staying in Gosford.

We can't recommend the Stables of Somersby enough! It was our absolute dream day

We are so so glad that we chose to have our wedding at the Stables of Somersby!!! Louise especially was incredible as she helped us prepare for our special day. They gave us the most incredible list of vendors to recommend (not too many that it's overwhelming, and not too few that you have no choices), and were more than happy when we wanted to use our own flower company. If you have vendors in mind, that works, if you don't then they will help you have the most incredible day. They were really patient when we took a while to reply when life got busy, and provided a wedding coordinator who was absolutely fantastic and helped the day run smoothly. We also needed to have our wedding right after new years to accommodate for our international family, and not only were they happy to help, but they moved an entire week of their holiday so that they could be open when our family was here. That was such an incredible and special touch for our wedding!!! We cannot recommend the Stables enough!!!!!
