The evening meal was GARBAGE !!!! They offer a roast only on Sunday (30th of June), how can you possibly stuff that up unless you have an untrained baboon cooking the food. Not going back there ever.

Food used to be absolutely fabulous. Not any more...new cook...and he can't!!! Hate to say it but give this kitchen a big miss! We always looked forward to this lunch, but waited one hour (not even busy!) and then wanted to BIN IT! Shocking ?

We turn up in Bingara and everyone is preparing for the Orange Picking Festival! A local Cafe owner recommended this place as she was not equipped to serve food today.
We walked in the Bistro and it is rocking. Full! We were told that our order may take half an hour as the chef was run off his feet. We reckoned that it must be good if everyone is eating.
Lamb cutlets were very beautifully prepared looked divine. They tender and delicious.
The beef and bacon burger was stacked and tasted amazing. This was chef's own make, the mince was coarse and not overworked with just a little flavouring. Delicious!
Service was very friendly and helpful. Food turned up more quickly than advised. We will have engineer a comeback soon!

Friendly staff and great atmosphere. I had the rump and veg with Dianne sauce. Rump cooked perfectly to my liking and the overall meat was absolutely delicious. Will definitely dine again.

Wonderful lunch served at the bistro attached to the Sportsman Hotel. We had the chef's special - chicken schnitzel with mash and vegies. Most of the vegies were fresh and the schnitzel tasted like home made. Came with two extras - we had one each - garlic prawn topping and the other hand cut salt and pepper calamari. Best pub meal we have had for a long time and at $15.00 each it was great value.

Friendly service from the staff here. Got a rump steak for dinner, probably above average as far as the steaks I've had. Really tasty fresh salad accompanying the meat, far better than your average pub salad
