Cute little spot, food's decent. Just a heads-up for anyone with allergies – it might be tough to find something safe. But hey, they had this amazing vegan dish in December that I really wish they'd keep around!

Had a great time at the Southern Hotel. We were there for lunch and had the rump steak and chicken parmigiana. Both were great meals with the steak cooked perfectly for medium rare. The salad and chips that came with the dishes were the perfect size, presented well and very tasty.

We were served by JP who also helped with photos. 😊 So friendly and such pleasant service. Can’t recommend the Southern and JP high enough.

We’ll definitely be coming back. Very happy.

We had the pleasure of dining at The Southern Hotel after booking the last minute and they were able to find us a table without any issue. From the moment we arrived by the lively and welcoming staff at the front counter, who showed us to our table. The food was served quickly, tasted fantastic and was priced reasonably. A special shout out to JP, one of the crew, who was constantly checking in to ensure we had everything we needed. He had such a warm and friendly smile throughout our visit.
Overall, it was an excellent experience and I highly recommend The Southern Hotel to anyone looking for a great food and service.

I had the pleasure of meeting the functions manager Mitch in the initial stages of searching for a venue for a milestone birthday for a family member. We stopped in without notice one Saturday and he was friendly, professional and provided a whole range of options to suit our event which honestly sold it for us from that moment. I was blown away with how accommodating he was through the booking and planning process and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the venue because of the amazing service Mitch provided along the way. The setup was perfect for our group and it was special afternoon and night. Thanks so much to Mitch and your team, we are so grateful!
