One of my favourite cafes in Bondi beach. Whether you want to grab a quick and delicious coffee/baked good or sit down to enjoy breakfast, lunch or an afternoon wine, The Shop and Wine bar never disappoint.

Although this is a small space, it is mighty and the staff who work there are incredibly friendly and hard working, making the place run like a well oiled machine.

The poach chicken sandwich is one of my favourites and they have the BEST gluten free bread which makes my gluten intolerant heart so happy.

Their selection of wines is divine and the cocktails are so well balanced and refreshing. It’s a spot loved by locals for good reason.

The Shop is a cherished haven, not just in Bondi, but one of my favourites anywhere. It has become the heart of every birthday, anniversary, and celebration. Intimate and brimming with warmth, it’s easy to say this place is run with love, and you feel it every time you go. Lucy is a huge part of that, a true gem—kind, generous, and always welcoming with a huge smile and hug.
The Shop captures everything you would hope for in a local spot, whether you're a regular or simply passing through. The food is exceptional, though the standout for me is undoubtedly The Chop Chop, a Japanese salad that is pure, wholesome goodness—the perfect, happy meal. Be warned, it’s hard to order anything else again after you have tried it. Even my kids are obsessed.
Be sure to book for evenings; it's a smaller venue, and always busy with locals. I would gladly give both The Shop and Lucy a wholehearted 10/10, every time.

Cosy little bar restaurant. We had two burgers that were tasty and cooked well with an interesting garnish and crisps, and we had a bottle of wine
Friendly service, I enjoyed the burger, but there are better burgers close by.

Bottom line $120 for two.

Ate here on a rainy Weekday for lunch. This place is always busy. Goes to show how good The Shop & Wine Bar product is. The sandwich loaf is light and fluffy with chewy crust. I ate half the meatball sandwich and ham sandwich. Quality fillings in a cozy setting. I will definitely be back

LOVE this place, it never disappoints. The food is made with love (BLT ❤️ Chipotle chicken salad ? haloumi burger ?) and the staff are friendly and accommodating.
The owners, Lucy and Mike, have created a community within their tiny cafe that is warm and welcoming and intimate-no matter how busy it gets.

This is a local gem! I’ve come here frequently for the past 11 years. My partner and I are coming tomorrow for our favourite bacon & egg breakfast roll in Bondi before we head overseas for sometime because I will miss it. This business must be the most efficient business in Bondi: they have a small space, yet cozy. With the space they’ve got, it always impresses me that they have a very fast service with consistently high quality food. The staff are always friendly. Highly recommended if you’re visiting Bondi and would like to try a local vibe ! ❤️

I'm a regular at this fantastic family-owned spot in Bondi. Their sandwich and salad menu is always fresh and delicious, and the wine list is perfectly curated to pair with each dish.
