This is my second visit, and I’m consistently impressed with the excellent meals and coffee. It’s a delightful spot for family gatherings and catching up with friends. Dropped in here for a light breakfast. The eggs, bacon and toady for 15 bucks was so delicious I forgot to photograph the plate. Tried the Tumeric, coconut milk and honey latte. Fabulous but very rich. Certainly worth giving this place a go.

Wonderful gem of a cafe with warm friendly staff and great food and drinks. Tried the turmeric latte - quite spicy be forewarned but the coconut milk was a great addition. Pancake serving was generous and the hash was delicious.

Very nice place - Once you go inside you can go to the back and it has plenty of space for prams etc . Food was good . The sourdough nice and crunchy . poached eggs and bacon were excellent ! Thanks

The Second Home Cafe, Richmond is my go to place for having a wholesome breakfast every weekend. My all time favourite is Big Breakfast which they customise also as per my liking and that describes the amazing customer service. I had coffee as well which was super good.
Definitely a must try!

We entered the cafe and had to ask staff if we could be seated, to which the person responded with "yeah, just sit wherever you want". We sat out in the back area, the male staff member was super polite and helpful. Brought us menus and took our order. We had to chase up the coffee, which he promptly brought to us (waited around 15min for that), the food was AMAZING! Spanish omelette and the hash. So so so good. Coffee was good. After completing our meals, went to go and pay. Team member at the counter was rude. Overall it was worth going for the food, but some of the team need to brush up on their interpersonal skills.
