I stayed at Sebel - Sydney Quay West for 3-nights for my birthday celebrations and to see a show at The Sydney Opera house. The trip went fast but staying at Sebel made the experience a very memorable one.

My husband and i stayed in a 2-bedroom apartment and my mother joined us, so the accommodations were perfect. Both bedrooms were fantastic - particularly the main with en-suite which were both luxurious. Although not a modern apartment, the view is so captivating both during the day and at night, we actually spent most of our time in the living area enjoying the views.

Room service were efficient, and the restaurant was good. In fact, the restaurant food was so fantastic, that we ate there every night and tried most of the dishes between us. Excellent value for money and always cooked to absolute perfection.

My husband and i departed early and we completed our checkout, and the manager was happy for my mother to stay in the apartment until 2pm and they assisted her with arranging a taxi to the airport. They did an absolutely wonderful job so thank you for the team for making that effort in helping her to make her way home. It was very much appreciated.

We were so impressed with Sebel Quay Suites, I’ve already booked a 4-night stay in March 2025, when my husband and i are travelling with my Sister-in-Law from London. I’m convinced she will be so impressed with views and services that Sebel have to offer.

A gem of a hotel in a great location. Our accommodation was a Suite with an amazing Harbour View in 14th floor. The Suite had a fully fitted kitchen plus utility room so you could be fully self catered if you wanted a change from eating out. The staff were friendly and helpful plus the breakfasts were delicious with a great choice of hot meals served to the table in addition to a cold buffet. Another unexpected bonus was the heated pool / gym / jacuzzi on the 23rd floor again with a great view. Very close to Circular Quay, The Rocks and the Shopping area. Perfect!

The room we stayed in was absolutely disgusting. The carpet was torn up in places and dirty. There was rubbish and mess in between the couch when the sofa bed was pulled out. The dryer stopped working during our stay. The room was so outdated with old appliances, definitely not up to the standard of a Sebel hotel. Under the bed looked like it had never been cleaned, my daughter has a dust mite allergy and she had a really bad allergic reaction during our stay. I felt like we were staying in a 3 star, cheap $50 a night accommodation room, not a 5 star hotel, far far from it.

On a positive note, the check in staff were great and the valet parking staff were fantastic!

We stayed in 4 different hotels/suites during our stay and this was by far the worst. The state of the room really made me regret our stay and wanting a refund. Not happy with the stay at all unfortunately.

We had a fantastic stay at The Sebel Quay West Suite. From the moment we arrived, the staff went out of their way to ensure that our family, especially my daughter, felt welcome. The rooms were spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. The hotel offered a kid-friendly environment, including, a pool with shallow sections for the little one, and even a special kids' menu at the restaurant, which my child loved!

The location was perfect for family outings, with attractions nearby and convenient transportation options. The staff were always friendly and helpful, making our stay smooth and enjoyable. We will definitely be back and recommend this hotel to any families looking for a great, relaxing stay.

Thank you, The Sebel Quay for making our trip unforgettable!

Comfortable spacious room with kitchen and laundry, massive king bed, pillows very good, bathroom with separate bath and shower. Mini bar well stocked and great room service. We had breakfast in the restaurant and service was fast. Food great and good prices. Views of water amazing. Very clean and quiet we didn’t hear any traffic noise or noise from other rooms. Staff very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend this hotel.

A massive thank you to the team at The Sebel. We booked our honeymoon stay for 4 nights and the room was as described. Sensational view of Sydney Harbour Bridge, Opera House. Room was serviced every day even when we didn't out out the sign which was refreshing to say the least. The room attendants went to extreme lengths to make our stay welcomed. We could not ask for anything more. Thank you for helping us make some lifetime memories.
We hope to be back one day and hopefully not a long wait.
Kids had room service one night and all the food was eaten from our older teens to our young ones. The food in their words was perfect. Our only regret we didn't get the Sebel bear when we left. Worth getting it for the kids at $25.

After my last review of this hotel, the manager got in touch with me to discuss my concerns. After a lengthy and genuine conversation, he offered my family a one night stay as an apology which I accepted and used this month for a solo visit when I was travelling for work. ||This time the stay was lovely (with no feather or down bedding to be seen). I received a very friendly welcome from Rita on the front desk. The accommodation again was spacious and had multiple rooms within it including a kitchen, bathroom, laundry, bedroom and lounge. ||It was quiet and comfortable. And has fantastic views of the harbour and a great pool and gym.

Family holiday 3 adults and two children, had a 2 bed suite, great harbour views from 13th floor. Could not have picked a better location convenience store next door. Ferrys trams and trains minutes away. Kids used swimming pools on the top (inside) and we had loads of room for the family in the room. City Extra on the quay is a good breakfast spot.
