The rooms need an update. They were clean, but not spot on clean. We were also missing utensils. But... It is spacious enough to accommodate a young family of 4. The separate bedroom is just what we needed. Plus staff is super friendly. They knocked on the door in the morning to check if there was anything we needed. Also, the washing facilities are free of charge. That was a big bonus as hotels normally charge you.

We were on the first floor (no lift available). The hotel is conveniently located. Next to the beach and very close to Mackay. We would stay here again.

It was fair condition. Air-conditioning was not working very well. |There is no cooking oven or stove. Microwave only. It may have been great in the 80s but not by today's standard. It is old but liveable for a short stay. |The bedroom was very hot in summer due to very faulty old air conditioner. |Pet friendly accommodation. Grass at the back for the dog to do its business.

Recommend for people travelling with little dogs. The room was perfect for them with a full tiled floor. (Not that we had any accidents), but it's good to know. The room smelled fresh, not dog smells.

The rooms could do with a bit of an upgrade.
Slept ok, the mattress could a little better.
Plenty of parking, including trailer.
Evening meal in the dining room was hot and fresh, steak cooked as ordered and vegetables perfectly done.
The Caesar salad was good, but the eggs were cold poached and hard, but I still enjoyed it.
Service friendly, however, we had slight issue in the room with the TV after 7pm. When we called for service, we were asked to go to the bar to rectify it, which is a fair walk across the grounds. We had already changed in PJs.
I think the duty manager should have attended the room not make us get dressed for simple change of remote batteries.

Tried to order lunch at 11.56 for 12.00 open time.
Happy to order and wait. Bar sent me to lunch order desk. They refused and sent me back to the bar. Staff obviously had issues amongst themselves with no awareness of helping me. We got there early but we were part of a group of about 15 people. Total lack of customer service meant I redirected our group to the marina for a lovely lunch. Don’t go here!!

I absolutely adored this place, the place was filled with the greatest atmosphere and amazing rooms. The Seabreeze hotel was an amazing visit and before I was served by a waitress, I think her name was Harper but she had blueish-black hair but she was the sweetest and even though there was lunch rush she was really patient to take our order when we came as a guest and was a really welcoming staff with aside of an amazing dish. Thank you Seabreeze hotel

Rented this space for a work Christmas function
Air conditioning does not work. Our guests had to stand outside to try and keep cool. We could not have any music and was exposed to the muffled noise from the public bar with live music over there. They started packing up tables and dragging chairs around while some people were still eating

We came for the Country Christmas and sat outside at one of the tables. The table next to us had food delivered and had children sat with them. We watched them smoke tapes as well as cigarettes and when we spoke to staff they pretended to have words with them. About 1/2 an hr later the same staff member sat with them and drank with them. This is disgusting behaviour from patrons as well as staff.

Served packet mashed potatoes which were inedible and coleslaw as salad. When we requested the coleslaw be swapped we were told the garden salad is an extra charge. What came was an entire bowl of dressing drenched leaves. I’m sorry but coleslaw is not salad and an entire bowl of leaves is not worth $9. Appalled by the quality of food for an establishment of this size.
