Such a good cafe for a catchup with friends. Everything we have ordered were delicious! We had scones, avocados stack, corn fritters with coffee. Their have an interesting selection in their ‘something special’ menu. Haha. So amazing.

I went to there during lunch time, it was pretty much busy. The weather was so nice, the food also good. I had really good time by myself. The staff seemed calm even though there were a lot of people. The food didn't take long either. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to use this space.

THE FOOD. Totally amazing. The Corn Fritters is their best dish that offers the most food for the price in my opinion. After adding an egg & bacon it comes out to $35 which is a bit pricey in my opinion.

Their bacon isn’t oily, their eggs are perfectly runny and overall the tastes are as authentic as it gets here for this dish.

And their coffee is 100% awesome. ?

SERVICE.
It’s now self-order which is different. You don’t get that specialty service anymore. And it resulted in me getting my food a bit delayed.

But the service here is overall very good. The staff are well trained.

Good spot to eat near the train station, there’s underground parking as well which is a plus. Pretty busy place but food service was quick. They have outdoor seating which is dog friendly. The southern fried chicken burger was nice but the beef burger was a little let down and the milkshake felt like it didn’t have any ice cream in it. But overall it’s a lovely place to relax and get a bite to eat.

Absolutely love every meal I’ve ever had here. The food is always beautiful, staff are lovely, and it’s in a great position next to the new Lindfield village green. The food is always presented well and there’s always new things to try on the specials board. Definitely head down for taco Tuesday and see what fabulous taco they have available!

We (party of four) were here at The Runaway Spoon for lunch on a Friday afternoon. I recommended making a booking as it does get busy particularly during lunch time. When we arrived, it was already packed with diners and we saw all these nicely plated dishes gotten brought out from the kitchen, people eating/drinking and chatting away, a truly vibrant atmosphere (love it).

We ordered
1) Nourish bowl
2) The spoon wagyu beef burger
3) Fried chicken & waffles
4) Double baked spinach, ricotta & pumpkin soufflé

I had the Fried Chicken Waffles (with Canadian maple Syrup), the combination savory and sweet hit the spot and I pretty much emptied my plate fairly quickly ? Although I didn’t try my dining companions’ dishes, all their plates were also empty by the end of our meal ?

They also have outdoor seating and I’ll definitely be back with my pet parrot!

You feel at home here from the first step in the door.
Great welcoming service and loads of great seating with views outside onto the grass area.
The food was amazing with short wait time and service really good.
Both breakfast and lunch menus will not disappoint.
Definitely my favourite in the area.
