I had said I wouldn't bother eating here again after a few bad experiences......BUT......I'm so pleased we ended up there this time on 13th February, 2022 (not by my choice) because the meals were the best pub meals we've had. This new chef, though young (we got to meet him to say thanks) is excellent. Highly recommend to all, adding that all staff are fantastic.

It took 50minutes to get the garlic bread that was cold and burnt. My friends nachos were stone cold. Mains arrived at the 70 minute mark with the salmon undercooked. The serving of chips was small. The waitress was cold and uttered minimal words. Disappointing as lunchtime service is completely different. Embarrassingly bad tonight.

Our Kiwanis Service Club has dinner meetings twice monthly and we haven't had a bad meal yet. Very good well proportioned meals at reasonable prices. Overall a good friendly, family place to enjoy a meal.

I have visited the Royal Mail Hotel numerous times. The rotating menu selection of $10 special meals is great if you are on a budget. The last time I visited was for a large family function for lunch. Lots of yummy finger food platters were provided. There was also self serve glasses of water and tea & coffee, which worked well . The old photos of the town the hotel is in is of special interest . However the Bistro's and the Bar's interior design needs to be brought up to date.

I had lunch there today with 2 lady friends, we three had grenadier fish with carrots, scalled potatoes which was yummy, peas and pumpkin with lemon no tartare sauce as neither of us three like it! Enjoyed it, it was lovely.
