The rooms are clean, and the location is good, being walking distance to most shops/cafes. However, the extreme noise coming from the pub downstairs as well as the bar across the street is absolutely unbearable. We were up well past midnight, not being able to sleep due to the noise. We contemplated leaving and came very close to doing so.

While I understand that this noise is disclosed on the website, we didn’t see this until after booking due to it being somewhat hidden on the page. I believe this needs to be much more clear when making a booking.
For example, the website should come up with a pop-up for Friday/Saturday night bookings stating that the noise may be an issue. At the very least, the room should contain complementary ear plugs to help deal with the noise. Should we have known the severity of the noise, we would have avoided at all cost. I suggest anyone making a booking on a Friday/Saturday suggest booking elsewhere especially if you have kids (unless of course you’re keen to stay up and party).

Spring is in the air and after our visit last weekend we will be back.

Few beers at the pub, in bed by 11 and up early for a swim at the magical beach. I noticed a few comments about noise but we didn’t have an issue.

What a location, so central and convenient.

We had a wonderful stay here! The room was clean and cosy and the bathroom was spacious with a really nice shower. We got parking in the adjacent road very easily every time we returned so didn’t have an issue with that. The pub was closed when we stayed and we had no issues with noise but enjoyed the great shops and restaurants surrounding. Would recommend and stay here again. Thanks for such a pleasant stay!

It's my fault for not reading the information and people's reviews properly prior to booking! If you don't mind LOUD live band music resonating through the room till midnight, followed by intimidating drunken disorderly behaviour on the street bellow the bedroom window till 1am then the rooms will be perfect for you. You need to walk down the corridor to access the shower and toilets. Everything was clean and tidy. All the restaurants were booked out! Make sure to book in advance!

Beautifully renovated rooms, Very clean, big comfy beds!!! Well appointed with nice pillows ?

we stayed with family in the two apartment rooms... if you are staying as a family with small children I would recommend apartment 1 as there is a hallway for the kiddos to run up and down ? however if you are staying with other people I would recommend apartment 2 as the kitchenette and tv are seperate from the bedrooms.

I have seen reviews regarding noise from the pub below. We didn't experience this as we stayed on a Sunday night. So it was very quiet. Also the pub is closed from Sunday night till Wednesday so noise wouldn't be an issue at all if you were staying in the area for work.

Stunning boutique rooms thoughtfully decorated and furnished with by local businesses. The entry is grand yet unassuming. The whole process is automated which is what I loved most about the experience. Everything was spotlessly clean and the showers rank up there with the best. The food downstairs is yummy and there's a heap of places around too. 5s all round!!!

Have just returned from a three night stay at The Rooms Milton. For location, you can't beat it. Never needed the car as everything was at our doorstep. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment and found it to have everything we needed including loads of space. A great stay and it won't be our last.

Stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment at The Rooms. Bathroom modern and the products were wonderful. Kitchen modern and well appointed. Bed was so comfortable. The only down side was the access and the stairs. In our late sixties and having to carry luggage up2 flights of stairs was not pleasant. Is saying that would we stay here again definitely!
