I have been meaning to pop in for a while. Today (Easter Sunday) my partner made a last minute booking for an early lunch. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was calm and relaxed. I noticed that the cafe was incredibly clean and well set out. The tables had a lovely view of the Tamar River and the table service was very prompt. We only had to wait around 10 minutes for our meals and we couldn't fault them. Our drinks came along even quicker than that. I would argue that the young barista made me the best latte I've ever had, and I thoroughly enjoyed it, along with my meal and the view. To the staff, thank you for working at Easter and thank you for your incredible service. We will be back.

The River Cafe in Beauty Point is a wonderful place to enjoy breakfast. The location is beautiful, with lovely views of the river that create a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Whether you sit inside or outside, it’s a perfect spot to start your day.

The staff are very friendly and welcoming. They make you feel comfortable and are always happy to help. Their excellent service adds to the pleasant experience.

The food is fresh, tasty, and well-prepared. The menu has something for everyone, whether you want a big breakfast or something lighter. Every dish is served with care and looks as good as it tastes.

Everything about The River Cafe is great – the beautiful setting, the kind staff, and the delicious food. It’s a place I would happily visit again and recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable breakfast.

A Hidden Gem for Breakfast Lovers!

We stumbled upon this spot during our trip, and it turned out to be an absolute delight! Their English breakfast eggs and toast were perfectly cooked—the eggs had a rich, creamy texture, and the toast was just the right mix of crispy and chewy. Every bite felt like a comforting hug in the morning.

But the real showstopper was their avocado toast with zucchini. It was a flavor explosion! The avocado was fresh and buttery, the zucchini was thinly sliced and lightly seasoned, and the whole dish was topped with just the right amount of seasoning to elevate it without overpowering the natural flavors. Every bite was bright, fresh, and utterly satisfying.

The ambiance was cozy, the staff were friendly, and the food was easily the best breakfast we’ve had in a very long time. We’re thrilled to have found this place and would highly recommend it to anyone in search of a memorable breakfast experience.

Nice views if you are facing the River , prices on the higher end for meals . ( fish 🐟 and chips 🍟 and salad 🥗 ) other wise good place for a Sunday.
Would go again , if we are this way again .👋✨️✈️

This cafe has really lived up to their claim to the best fish & chips in Tasmania! They are indeed THE BEST fish and chips we have ever had! The fish burger was pretty good too.
I didn’t like the Momo so much though.

Service was great and efficient. The staff was friendly and helpful. Great outdoor seating overlooking the sea.

The only thing I had a problem with was getting a coffee flavoured milkshake. Not their usual order, so just settled for a latte. The only reason for 4 not 5 stars. BUT great coffee ☕️ 😋
Would totally recommend a visit.

Came here for breakfast twice while staying in Beauty Point and would not hesitate to come back again! Food was incredible and so was the service! Highly recommend, can’t wait to come back!
