Owners lovely but greeted with a long list of rules and regulations. We stayed in tree fern room and the bed was so uncomfortable . The room and place was spotless. The breakfast was the best cooked to perfection. Its a very quiet place so was a relaxing 2 day break.

This is a lovely property and the hosts Libby & Paul were very welcoming. The rooms are well appointed, spotlessly clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were some of the best we've had. This is a great choice if you are looking for a quiet & peaceful weekend getaway.

Our first B&B stay. Paul and Libby were fantastic Hosts. Nothing was an issue, breakfast was amazing. Bed was out of this world. We had the best nights sleep. Property is quiet, very tidy and the pool inviting. Certainly can recommend this property for your next break.

We had a lovely weekend at the Ridge retreat. |We received a warm welcome from Libby & the room was cosy & warm when we arrived.|Libby explained everything in great detail, from the breakfast menu to local eateries in the area. |Breakfast was cooked by Paul and served on the veranda over looking the magnificent property. It was a wonderful way to start the day.|We were made to feel very comfortable and had total privacy during our stay. |Thanks gain :)|

Libby and Paul were warm and engaging and provided clear and excellent information about the accommodation and amenities. They were also very helpful in offering restaurant suggestions in the local area. The room and terrace were both exceptionally clean and comfortable and beautifully furnished and maintained. Our breakfasts were on par with the best provided in 5-star hotels. Sitting on the terrace and overlooking the magnificent gardens while breakfasting or with a late afternoon drink and being joined by the family of Kookaburras is an experience we are unlikely to have again.

When I checked the reviews for Ridge Retreat on Tripadvisor I don't think that I had seen reviews so skewed to the positive. Now having been there I can understand why. There really aren't enough superlatives to do Ridge Retreat justice. The room was great, the view beautiful and Paul and Libby were amazing hosts with nothing being too much trouble. If you are contemplating a trip to this area you should definitely do yourself a favour and stay here for a while!!

My wife Leonie and I thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at The Ridge Retreat. The property is stunning - spacious rooms stylishly furnished, leading directly to the terrace overlooking the pool and the beautifully landscaped gardens. Paul and Libby are fantastic hosts and Paul’s breakfasts are amazing, the best omelettes we have ever had! We highly recommend a stay here and will definitely be back. Ian and Leonie.

Paul and Libby are excellent hosts and the premises are in excellent condition the rooms very clean and plenty of room, the bathrooms are roomy and well stocked.||The breakfasts are well presented and very tasty, the beds are the most comfortable I have slepted in other than my own and I stay in plenty of motels in my working life. ||My partner and myself will definitely be back||Thanks Paul and Libby for a enjoyable time||Brian and Juliet
