Can I just say. Yuck!
I’m so sorry but the bacon was hardly even warmed up. It was raw…. Poached eggs were very overly done. And the holumi cheese was under cooked and not even crispy. Avocado was brown and tasted funny!
Never buying again.

A cute place I would go to, read a book and have some yummy thick toast and a coffee. We will be back 👍

Hadn't been in years since we moved away from town, but the food is still phenomenal, the thick shakes still pass the gravity defying straw test and they still have some of the wildest off menu secret items if you just ask!!!

Not much steak in the chilly cheese steak burger and the burger buns had a mouldy taste to it. Chips are your typical frozen chips from the supermarket , eggs over fried and the steak was cold with no flavour , philly dog was good and the young kid behind the counter looked like he didn't want to be there.

Chose the spot as it looked nice, the experience however was less than average, especially on Mother’s Day.

We asked for scrambled eggs with the bruschetta and received poached eggs. The bread was crispy however and was overall good.

The milkshake was average, the mango tango daiquiri was also average.

The French toast banana bread was good and a different experience. There were some squished strawberries as well which did not look appealing.

The customer service was of very low quality, very basic and unenthusiastic. There was also a long wait time to take orders as well as to get any food or drinks.

Inside the store is interesting and has a character however is very hot.

Ordered the pancakes both times I came here and they were both a little different each time but delicious nonetheless! Everything is made from fresh.

Definitely come here for breakfast/brunch/lunch on an empty stomach to make the most of the menu!

I had a great experience at this diner, as it is a family-friendly establishment. From the moment we stepped inside, the vibrant retro decor and welcoming, family-run atmosphere made us feel right at home.

I ordered a burger called "The Swayze Dirty Dancer," a mouthwatering creation stacked with crispy bacon, melted cheese, and a sauce of my choice. The beef patty was juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, and the addition of a crispy chicken schnitzel made it even more indulgent. It came with a side of crunchy chips, making it the ultimate comfort food for me.

For dessert, I couldn’t resist their homemade cake of the day, which always hits the spot and provides the perfect ending to a delicious meal.

Our family loves visiting The Retro Diner for weekend brunches or dinners. It’s a fantastic place to enjoy freshly cooked meals that always feel like home.
