Best Pub in the area! Kevin and Kylie are really welcoming people:)
Have a beer in the bar, try kevin's steak and spend the night in their renewed rooms.
You can also park your van (powered site), having acess to showers and toilets.
During sunset you will probably see the "pretty face" wallabies in their garden. If you are lucky, koalas too.

PERFECT COUNTRY HOSPITALITY!!
Ran out of diesel rolled in to the Retreat hotel, heard music assumed open. No mobile phone reception asked for help/fuel, told to "get out of here"..
To me perfect opportunity to upsell a room or campsite?
Could get fuel the following day when the local petrol station opened.(This review is Written while sitting on the side of a highway with trucks passing and hazzards flashing)waiting for Diesel to be delivered from 1.30 hour away)..perhaps the normal service is better?.
Can only review our experience..

Great family pub. The new owners have done so much work to that pub. Great prices, excellent food, good atmosphere and somewhere you would definitely want to go back to. I'm hoping buisness picks up for them as they fought for a few years to get it back open due to high demand

The Retreat makes for a great place to stopover if you're heading out along the Peak Downs Highway, although for self contained vans only. Level, powered sites available with good water, there is a dump point on site. Motel accommodation is available and the hotel is huge, with heaps of indoor and outdoor seating/dining area's. Staff are friendly and helpful. There is also a large level area available for free camping adjacent to the hotel if you don't want power or water.

Fantastic place to stay. Very welcoming. Large, clean, reasonably priced rooms. Restaurant open Tues to Sat nights. Try the Home-made Rissoles.
