We had our wedding at The Refinery in October and it was everything we wanted it to be and more. Rach & Amelia are truly experts in their field of events and took care of everything - leaving us to just focus on controlling our nerves and getting excited. They were both so attentive and communication was perfect throughout the entire process.
The food was phenomenal - all our guests were raving about it. The space was perfect, decorated with such detail and care.
The staff were absolutely amazing - so attentive, kind and professional - total rockstars really.
The music/sound system was great, music was always at the perfect level to suit the vibe.
The drinks were flowing and fabulous.
We cannot fault our experience in any way.
We are incredibly grateful to the team at the Refinery for making our wedding day so special - thank you!

We were lucky enough to marry at the Refinery in September, it was the most seamless experience. Amelia showed us around and we knew it was it from the first visit. The whole planning process was calm, no fuss, professional and we couldn’t fault a thing. Rach and Amelia were so easy to communicate with and both so nice. The guests raved about the food and the service and nothing was ever a problem. We had the best time and so glad we found you.

Where do we start?! We had our wedding ceremony and reception at The Refinery last month and it was exactly everything we dreamed about. We have always loved dining at Rogue and so having our wedding at Refinery was a no-brainer.

Rach and Amelia were SO helpful and gave us so much peace of mind during the planning process and on the day. Being based in Europe, we were planning our wedding from the other side of the world and naturally that came with some anxiety ? But what made the biggest difference was how responsive the ladies were and how they made us feel that nothing was too much of an ask.

From vendor coordination & run-sheets to stationary & signage, the Refinery team are so incredibly organised, structured and detail-oriented. On the day, we didn’t have to think about the details because Rach & Amelia took full control and ran everything smoothly behind the scenes. This meant we could relax and fully enjoy our most special day ? Plus the food was incredible — our guests absolutely loved it too!

These ladies operate behind the scenes but deserve such high praises for everything they do. If we’ve learnt anything about wedding planning, it’s that a venue can be beautiful but what makes the difference is the team behind it. We highly recommend Refinery for couples looking for a Brisbane-based wedding!

The venue is breathtakingly beautiful, with its elegant indoor spaces and charming architecture. It created the perfect backdrop for both our ceremony and reception, and our guests couldn't stop raving about how stunning it was.

Rach and Amelia went above and beyond to make our day seamless and stress-free. They both were an absolute joy to work with—always attentive, organized, and genuinely passionate about making our vision come to life. Every detail was handled with care, and they were always available to answer questions or provide guidance throughout the planning process.

Everything on the wedding day ran smoothly, thanks to the incredible coordination and preparation by The Refinery team. The setup was flawless, the food was delicious, and the service was impeccable. Our guests were treated like royalty, and we felt like the most special people in the world. We are still getting compliments on the food that was served at our wedding!

Our wedding was truly a dream come true, and we owe so much of that to this amazing venue and its team.

From a photographer's perspective the Refinery is such a wonderful venue. Its modern, minimalist design photographs beautifully and provides a very tasteful atmosphere for all your celebrations. Rachel and her team are the best in the biz and truly put in all their love and care to ensure your day runs smoothly. The venue has multiple options for ceremony locations including a wet weather option as well as offering a number of different locations for photos. If you're after a contemporary venue for your wedding The Refinery is 100% the place to host it.

Where to begin! Right from Day 1 it was clear that The Refinery is run by the most incredible team. Rach was professional, passionate, approchable and a blast to be around. She did everything in her power to ensure the day played out exactly as we wanted. She has an incredible eye for the smallest details that might otherwise have been missed. The rest of the staff were equally impressive on the night - effortlessly keeping track of names and dietary requirements, even as the guests moved around. The venue itself is gorgeous both inside and out, just big enough to still feel intimate without being cramped, and equipped with a stunning Bridal Suite for touch-ups and quick breaks. The food was nothing short of spectacular and a frequent talking point amongst all the guests, though this shouldn't be a surprise to anyone familiar with Rogue Bistro. We cannot recommend The Refinery enough.

We recently had our wedding at The Refinery and couldn't have asked for a better venue or team to help us have the perfect day!

The space is beautiful and the perfect blank canvas for all of your styling dreams (or amazing just as). It's a large space yet still feels intimate and has the perfect indoor/outdoor feeling. You will not find better wedding food!! Everyone has commented on how great it was. Every single thing down to the smoked butter was so delicious! The inclusions that are offered for weddings are also a huge bonus that will save you!

The whole team at The Refinery are amazing! Rach is the best of the best. She was so great to work with throughout the whole process - extremely friendly, passionate, organised and so helpful for someone who didn't really know what they were doing when planning a wedding. She worked directly with all of our vendors before the day to ensure everything was perfect. On the day the whole team created a stress free environment for us from the get go.

We can't thank the whole team at The Refinery enough! Would highly recommend for anyone considering!

Luke and I got married at The Refinery last month (October 2022). It was the best day ever and we had such a fun party! We chose The Refinery because we have always adored Rogue Bistro, so wanted our guests to experience the food that is to die for (and yes they loved it)! Rach was an absolute gun and made the whole experience so magical, from start to finish. Throughout our wedding planning, she was available, helpful and clear in her responses. The staff at Rogue/Refinery are consistently exceptional and the venue is just gorgeous. Get married here - you'll love it!
