We spent 4 nights at the Reef House in January. It was a very impromptu visit and we only booked a week or so out but needed some down time before heading into a busy year. From the first email I received after booking everything went so smoothly and the service was fabulous. I had a call about booking for the spa, restaurant bookings were made easily, nothing seemed like too much trouble. The room was lovely, we ordered a special soft pillow after our first night which was propped up on the bed after we got back from the pool. All the little extras were great - we listened to the Indigenous talk, we did cocktail making, cool towels handed around at the pool, cocktails by the pool, borrowing the bikes and heading off on a long ride. All the staff we encountered were so lovely and very friendly. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious and breakfast each morning was a hit. Would definitely like to come back again.

Feeling thoroughly relaxed after our 3 night stay - pool areas quiet (plenty of reading done) with an abundance of sun lounges and shade (or sun, if that’s your thing). Staff were fantastic, very welcoming and friendly. We loved the personal touches of being shown to our room and given the lowdown on where everything was around the hotel and in our room, so no holiday time wasted figuring out aircon or where are the light switches. Rooms are very comfortable and roomier than other hotels we’ve stayed at. The only thing to improve on would be a little sprucing up of the bathrooms - extremely clean, large and functional, just a little outdated. Food selection was varied (light meals to substantial) and delicious, something for everyone - would highly recommend the seafood platter. A great variety of activities and use of the bikes for exploring the other local beaches. We will not stay anywhere else at Palm Cove now that we’ve discovered The Reef Hotel. Thank you to everyone at the hotel for making our 30th wedding anniversary a memorable celebration. See you all again soon.

We booked for my sister & I for her 50th birthday. We were met with a friendly welcome & refreshing drink. Inclusions were explained & we were taken to our room where our luggage had been delivered. Very clean & well furnished room with a lovely courtyard where we enjoyed reading & relaxing when not at the pools. Breakfasts were very tasty & loved the juices & hot chocolates which we occasionally took with us to the beach to enjoy with the view after dining. Beds were comfortable & great pillows. Self service Laundry was handy. Yoga, aqua aerobics, stretch & breath & cocktail making were all enjoyable activities. The staff are amazing, very friendly & the best in the business. Butler service for drinks & food by the pool were a highlight along with the afternoon gelato, the punch & canapés. Can do as much or as little as you like. We will definitely be back & highly recommend to others. (Apologies if photos are sideways or upside down).

My husband and I went away for a week long holiday and loved every second. The room was spacious and clean, the staff were friendly and helpful and the inclusions were a treat. 3pm sorbets by the pool, 5pm canapés and punch as well as the many other inclusions like wine tasting and cocktail making lessons. We have never been to a child free resort before (ours kids are grown now) and the atmosphere was so relaxing. Thank you reef house for helping make our anniversary so memorable.

This was our second time at the reef house after 2 years and that was far too long without the rest, rejuvenation, and relaxation that The Reef House has to offer.

Of course our stay would not be the same without the amazing staff that go above and beyond for us every time. We would like to make a special mention to Cédric for continuous service with a smile and his “No task too big or too small” attitude. Another staff member that worked incredibly hard make us feel special and always brightened our day was Jeremy. We can’t wait to come back to our little slice of paradise that is The Reef House.

Words can not describe the love we have for the Reef House team, they make us feel like family. The Reef House will always hold a special place in our hearts.

The stay was amazing and everything was perfectly catered. Felt very cared for by the staff and would assist in every possible way. ||Each and every member of the Reef House seemed like they wanted to be there and help us and genuinely happy to assist. ||The food was incredible too. The morning coffees and breakfast was great every single morning. The juice of the day was also a welcome addition.||The degustation dinner was a highlight, along with their cheesecake which is some of the best I’ve ever eaten.

Very clean hotel, neat and tidy always.

Never fails to impress. The most wonderful and relaxing break you could ask for. A leisurely breakfast to start the day, cold towels by the pool at 11:00, sorbet by the pool at 3:00 then canopies and cocktails at 5:00 all included in the price. Words cannot describe how good this place is.
