First time at a casino. 2 floors with poker machines. Blackjack and other tables on ground floor. You access the top floor by escalator or stairs. $19.80 for 2 beers but I guess it's because it's a casino. Not that many people there.

We had our wedding reception at the Pullman Reef Hotel Casino, and it was absolutely perfect! From the initial planning stages to the big day, the team of Louise, Agata and Nuria went above and beyond to make sure every detail was flawless. Our guests were blown away by the food—it was exquisite, and the chef even tailored a few dishes to meet our preferences. The staff were attentive, friendly, and professional, helping everything run smoothly and making sure we could relax and enjoy the night.

The ballroom was beautifully decorated, and the hotel offered so many great photo locations both indoors and outdoors. The convenience of having our reception right in the hotel where guests could also stay was a huge plus. We couldn't be happier with our choice. Thank you to the whole team for making our wedding reception so special. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an unforgettable wedding reception experience in Cairns! P.S the included Presidential Suite night as part of the wedding package was the perfect place to get ready and spend the night!

This place isn't of a high standard that major casinos have. In saying that it's not deplorable. Staff are friendly, drink and food prices are reasonable considering their in the city centre and near the eatery section of the wharf. I recommend that you become a member as you walk in, as you get discounts, free parking and it costs nothing.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. After having entered from Abbot St and not the main entrance I was concerned that the hotel's atmosphere would be dominated by the tacky casino. It wasn't. The rooms were extremely spacious with a lovely couch and balcony. The staff were very professional and very polite. I've never been greeted so warmly by so many housekeeping staff members in a hotel - every time I passed one I was greeted with a very bright and cheery "hello." The hotel were able to arrange for a microwave to be added to my room so that I could use a heat pack for a significant injury I have. Nothing was a problem, and except for a delay checking in (one of our rooms wasn't ready and it took an hour before we could access the room), it was a pretty perfect stay.

If gambling is for you, then this casino should provide a good range of options. Tables cater for the usual roulette, poker and blackjack and lots of machines. A fair range of restaurant options and the occasional show in the bar. Drinks service at the tables is a little slow. Centrally located in Cairns within walking distance of the esplanade, restaurants, cruise terminal etc.
