Fake photos and reviews. Careful when you book on this because they have all fake pictures from another property and doesn’t look anything like it. Very rude contact person.
Filed police report for scam to get a refund. booking.com was where it was listed but now removed.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS PROPERTY IF YOU LIKE A HAPPY HOLIDAY!!!

Our room had no soap,no dishwashing liquid, the room smelt and the kitchen was dirty as well the dishes were dirty obviously because no product. Whole place needed a very good clean. These comments from someone who does not usually bother so it must have been bad as we were booked in for 2 nights and left after the first.

Not bad, but pretty decent. The location is fantastic and the views you can get from the top floors are pretty nice. But, the elevators are outdated and break every now and again, the owners also refuse to renew leases.

Stayed in unit 58 again, the apartment was nice and clean, very relaxing, didn’t use the pool, was a little cool for that. But I will say the owners of these unit would be paying a cleaning fee, when I walked onto the balcony you could feel the grit from the road dust, it doesn’t take long to run a quick broom over it and wipe the table over, the cleaners will empty the ash tray left on table but don’t bother with floor.

Stay in same unit every time always clean and it shows that the owner actually cares about their investment, will be back. Close to everything great restaurant up the road called cav’s steakhouse. Good club around the corner and the beach across the road.

This an entirely independent and unsolicited review that I am always pleased to do for Google. As a source of information for this review I read many of other reviews here. Positive views we can set aside – they speak for themselves. For those that had a less than wonderful experience – I feel for.
My wife and I have just completed an 18 month rental lease and have an advantage over those that only had a short time to enjoy them-
selves. On our coming in to Rays Resort we found everything to be in excellent condition. We did not consider the place ‘tired’. The swimm
-ing pool and its gardens are the equal to any 5 star hotel world-wide … and we have been world-wide.
The staff ? They have their days as most of us do. The man you may have seen about the place (Tom) is fortunate – he doesn’t seem to have those days. Bonnie the young lady is just that – she is a sweetheart … no negative views can ever refer to her. Trixie, the force behind most of it all - who my wife loves (and so do I) ...is a walking Supercomputer and she is very professional and focused. This will reasonably give some a perception of sternness. Wait till you get your accounts or anything to do with payments – normally a hotbed of potential conflict: it’s likely that if you differ with her in numbers – sadly, more likely to be wrong which is a good thing
When (or if) you choose Rays Resort to stay – start with a positive outlook and you’ll have a much better time.

Accidentally left an important & expensive gift on the apartment couch during checkout, when realizing relatively soon after called to organize collection the next day (as office was closed due to being Sunday). Received item back opened and used. When asking management about this, I was blamed, minimized & treated very poorly in general. Yes it was my error but I hope to trust hotel staff to respect a travellers possessions. Very saddening experience.

Came during the Commonwealth Games the Main Street was closed off but we were not told about this prior. When we tried to drive to the hotel traffic controllers stopped us because we didn’t have a pass, we called the hotel and her advice was “park on the street behind” which is paid parking! She said there is nothing more she could do and hung up. We then went to the traffic controller ourselves who said someone is coming to give us a pass, we waited an hour in the sun for this person and multiple other Rays Resorts residents waited as well. The controller told us the hotel should already have these passes and have given us these beforehand - unbelievable. Then on our way out we went to the reception to pay the rest of the rent when the lady told us the money had already been taken out!- which we were not told would happen and did not appreciate. Then we told the lady about the incident with the parking to make sure it doesn’t happen to anyone else and make sure they’re aware of it and the lady became extremely rude and aggressive she said “I do not have to explain anything to you” “if you aren’t happy you can leave” - that was her advice!! Not even wanting to help us - don’t worry we aren’t coming back again! And when we asked for her name she said “I don’t need to talk to you, I don’t even need to look at you.” How rude! This lady doesn’t know the first thing about hospitality or customer service - definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND!|It’s disappointing because the apartment was nice and the pool and spa were relaxing but not good enough to excuse the lack of customer service.
