We pulled in for dinner and found a wide variety of options - including the usual pub fare and special treats. I chose Chicken Wellington and it was very nice. The staff were friendly and the drinks cold. It is well worth calling in and the seem to be able to feed groups with out any issues.

We always enjoy an enjoyable meal at the railway. Last night was such a busy night for Allora community embracing their Bush Xmas event. So many people supporting. The Pub was packed with locals & diners. Just a shout out to the staff, who even though so busy always kept a smile on their faces. The young waiter and waitresses who ran all night delivering meals, apologising for the delays but all must enjoy their jobs and do it all so well. Well done 👍🏻 the quality of the meals is always 💯

What a gem. This is what a pub, and its food, should be. Talk about memories of times past when staff and patrons were all friendly and food was excellent value with large, satisfying portions. Excellent food and the wife and I kept looking at each other in shock at the value and quality on offer. I got what I thought would be a smaller meal in a chicken BLT but it was generous and filling. Excellent sandwich and some of the best chips I've had in a while - cooked nice and crunchy in clean oil. We will be returning ourselves and also putting it on the must-do list for guests who come to visit. Cracker of a place.

UPDATE: Went back with some friends and all meals were as impressive as previous. Generous portions, great quality, excellent value. I took down the challenge burger (barely) and it was excellent!

Railway Hotel provides a fantastic family orientated venue for lunch. The menu is extensive, and the quality of the food is excellent. A Specials Menu offers another varied range of options to enhance and offset the main menu. Serving sizes are huge so do not go overboard with the Entree's unless you are a big eater. Mind you they are worth the sampling.||The dining room ambience is basic but the tables, venue and surrounds are spotless and well cared. It is an old hotel so when there please take the time to savior the venue itself. Staff are very friendly, helpful and happy to assist where required. Couple that along with an extensive range of cold beers on tap, specialist beers, spirits and quality wines although if you are partial to a Merlot then you will be out of luck. A beer garden is available for dining but it was far too cold for us to venture there.||Parking to the venue is ample along the main streets with a very short stroll to the door.||This venue is typical of the country hospitality that is provided to you in the local area. It is a favorite for us.

Can’t comment on rooms. Came in for lunch with a table of 16. (Booked ahead). Burgers HUGE- cheap $16 and large fries. Came out quickly. Friendly bar staff.

Fantastic country pub, exceptionally clean with lovely friendly service. Stopped in for a counter meal on our travels and would definitely recommend. We had rissoles and the steak sandwich which tasted great and was great value for money. Thanks for a great meal and experience.

My partner and i are garbage cans when it comes to food but neither of us could finish our meals they were that bad (got our normal go to's. Steak and Parmi)
For the price of the rooms I would have expected my own bathroom at least but rooms are below average.
Drink prices and workers however make this place what it is. A small cosy very welcoming local. Nice place to get away to away from everyone else
