OMG this is the most fabulous place to come for lunch. The food is outstanding, the service is engaging kind and embracing, and the atmosphere is wholesome. The icing on the cake is the table of ladies quilting and gossiping while we soak up the experience of visiting the gem of Tasmania!

5 stars for everything. Such a lovely place.
I walked in to check out the material & all things quilting to be met with such warmth.
The lady who was ever so kind & helpful discussing the cow quilt & pattern with me and such lovely banter from the quilting ladies. The Pommy Git was a treasure.
We felt so welcome that we decided to go back for lunch in the little cafe section & to our delight, the young staff were fabulous & very friendly. The food was delicious, we both had the Rubens. Highly recommend a visit, we'll definitely be back that's for sure.

Lovely quaint warm, wood heated old Church building on our way through. Bravo to them too. They were providing free hot drinks to all the service workers who had been in a d around town dealing with the aftermath of the big, wild storm that had come through the days before we arrived.

I’m slightly disappointed because I normally give five stars. But the well textured coffee was not strong enough, and the temperature was not hot enough. The enjoyable scone was undersized but priced appropriately. Fascinating location inside of old church with ladies quilting; hence the name.

Oh my goodness what a treat!! This tiny, unassuming teahouse and haberdashery dwelling is an absolute delight! The home cooked food is phenominal. Its the tea house we all remember from the 70s and 80s. It has a cosy fireplace and the staff are just sensational! They even placed a candle on my mums scones as I'd mentioned it was her birthday! Do Not miss this little place when you're in New Norfolk! We travelled from Lauderdale to visit for the day and we'll travel back to New Norfolk just to visit The Quilted Teapot again. 🫖

Came to this adorable little cafe after high recommendations from my bnb host. Boy am I glad I took the recommendation.
Janine the owner is an absolutely lovely lady who makes the best scones I've ever tasted.
If you are into textiles while you are waiting or after you've finished you can look around the assortments of fabrics and threads to buy for your hobby.
I highly suggest coming here 🙂

That was unreal. Beautiful French press coffee. Goat curry pie and lamb and rosemary filo. Nice serve of salad on each plate. Thank you for a very enjoyable lunch.
