If you love peace and quiet and free camping, The Pines is perfect. Several relatively flat camp-sites all with fire pits. Plenty of fire wood to collect nearby. Walks from the campground to two waterfalls. Drop toilet clean, toilet paper and smell free. We'll be back.

The road up to Coolah Tops is extremely badly eroded / scoured. While 2wd, you need a good clearance to be comfortable.

The NP is in need of much love. Many of the roads are closed ( and have been for a long time), there are oodles of very deep potholes.

Several of the walking tracks haven't seen maintenance for yonks!

Still a good place to visit.

Awesome, remote campground. Currently half is closed, awaiting tree limb removal to make it safe, but if you like remote and peaceful camping, this is great!
