We booked the panorama function room for our babies first birthday. Staff were so accommodating and nice. They helped setting up and assisting us with what we needed which made things a lot easier on the day. We ordered platters for the event and everything that came out was delicious and plentiful. The function room was the perfect size and having a bar inside the room meant no guests had to leave the area just to grab drinks. Overall we were very pleased with everything and all the staff made it super easy with the set up and the clean up. Would definitely have another event there again. 10 out of 10

I don't usually write reviews, but The Peakhurst absolutely deserves a shoutout. The food was ready fairly quickly and was top quality. There was a young girl working the floor with dark red hair who was honestly an absolute star. She was super friendly, professional, cleared our plates after finishing our meals, without any issues. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to and recommending to others.

We stayed here as it was close to where we were visiting. How lucky were we. The lady at reception could not have been more helpful. Showed us through the place. The room we were in was so quiet. Bed very comfortable. Bathroom was clean and modern. The only issue was that to make coffee or tea you had to go to another room. If you can take small jug. Fridge is in your room. Good place to stay.

I recently held my 40th Birthday celebration in the Panorama room at the Peakhurst.

The event manager (Mandy) - was an absolute joy to deal with, and made the whole process very easy. The food and service is exceptional!

This is a fantastic good value package. We particularly liked the comfy beds, quiet room, fantastic meal at the pub downstairs, and the manager Steve. It's a great value accommodation option and we will stay here again. Think of it as pub style accommodation but a modern version. Set above the pub, it's slightly utilitarian, but rooms have a bathroom, and there is a kitchen area with tea & coffee, a microwave & table. It's great to be able to have a few drinks, a lovely meal, and then head upstairs. Very secure and free parking. Thanks Steve

The Peakhurst was fantastic! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the food was absolutely delicious, full of flavour and perfectly prepared. Every dish was a treat, and you could tell the chefs put a lot of care into their work.

A special thanks to Mandy, who really made our night. She went out of her way to help us plan a surprise, getting the whole team, including security involved to make it all come together perfectly. Her energy and dedication made the evening even more memorable, and we really appreciated her effort in making it all happen. If you’re looking for great food and a truly special experience, the Peakhurst is the place to go!

I asked for the dressing of the meal I ordered to be put on the side or no dressing at all and was told can't do it because it's a new menu, an easy request to do whether it's an old or new menu.
The head chef came to tell me it can't be done because it's a new menu and too hard to train his staff to make the meal without dressing... He changed his mind and made the meal without the dressing which wasn't hard to do, why argue with a paying customer.
