The Palms at Palm Cove is a great venue. We had a two bedroom suite which was clean and comfortable. While just a couple of minutes walk from the main esplanade it has a restful and cool tropical setting making it ideal for morning relaxation or an afternoon aperitif. Hosts Anna and Trent were warm and friendly and ensured that we had a good stay. Great place to check out for your next stay in Palm Cove.

Room was tidy and had a fully operational kitchen, great to be able to cook our own food on the last leg of our trip. Great location, and by the pool feels like you’re in the rain forest. Not a party hotel so a great spot if you want to relax (no music by the pool rules etc). 3rd place we stayed at on our NQ trip and definitely our favourite

we loved our stay here!! it was so beautiful and relaxing, and the fact they had an in unit laundry with detergent was soo helpful. the pool was the perfect temperature and great for relaxing and taking a break from the cities on our holiday. if you’re a light sleeper though, the windows/walls are not very soundproof. we were able to hear all different kinds of birds/animals throughout the night. we were able to put on white noise and this drowned most of it out so overall it wasn’t a big issue but I hadn’t seen that mentioned previously! may happen at hotels in Palm cove across the board but an fyi! loved our stay, and the free parking in the back was also a huge bonus 🙂

This apartment was well located, clean and very well equipped. Even more, it literally is about the palms with such a perfect tropical setting. Bali vibes in Queensland. Definitely will be back!

What a beautiful, calming location! The Palms is a 5-10min walk to the beach and main street, 2min walk to Palm Cove Tavern (great for families).

The resort is small, comfortable, well maintained and extremely calming.

Beautiful rooms with amazing artwork, comfortable beds, well appointed and comfortable.

You will enjoy staying here.

Not my vibe from the start, place screamed hippy sanctuary which was disappointing for us. Main room looked great, then noticed fan in 2nd room didn't work and no aircon in 2nd room either. Beds were very uncomfortable. Toilet started to clog up after a couple of uses. Not allowed to smoke outside (have to walk out to carpark), no music allowed (kill me now, not even on low). Direct access to pool was a great feature until other guests around you have the same access for a small pool. Very intimidating- no privacy. One woman watched/eyeballed us unpacking from the pool and was literally 4 steps away - very weird. Felt like a sanctuary for the walking dead. Left after the 1st night, couldn't stand it.

My experience at The Palms at Palm Cove was unfortunately disappointing. While the location is ideal, several issues seriously affected our stay.

Firstly, the apartment was not properly cleaned, which is unacceptable for accommodation of this standard. Secondly, constant noise in the area made it difficult to relax or fully enjoy the surroundings.

I raised these concerns and, given the circumstances, requested a goodwill gesture. This request was categorically refused without any real empathy or attempt to address the situation.

I am disappointed that a place that markets itself as welcoming failed to provide service that meets basic expectations or show genuine care for its guests.

I cannot recommend this property in its current state unless significant improvements are made.

Don’t book here, they will move you to another resort.

We booked our stay at the Palms months in advance and were notified the day of our departure from Canada that we were being moved to a “sister” resort across the street. The Palms left us with few options (accept the transfer or be issued a refund). By this point we had already booked excursions with pickups nearby and the prices for other resorts had surged. Despite our concerns about the sister resort after looking at pictures online, the Palms assured us that we were wrong and should accept the transfer. The resort we stayed at was not clean, the staff were unresponsive, and the facilities were mediocre.

We requested a refund or compensation from The Palms who only told us that we “agreed” to the transfer and that they were not willing to transfer us. They also said that we should have contacted them while we were there, which we did. We asked for them to provide us with a room if one became available. Not sure what else the management at the Palms would have liked us to do.
