A last minute decision to head out for lunch and it took us to The Oxford.

It has recently been renovated and it looks great.

My only concern is that there is not enough covered area in the new renovation.

The staff were super friendly, chatty, helpful and smiling.

The food came out in what appeared to be baking/roasting pans, unusual but effective. My only thoughts were that the serves looked quite small in the pans and would have looked larger and more value for money on regular dinner plates.

As for the quality, it was nice, although true brisket was a little dry the Tasmanian Salmon and the sides were great.

We're looking forward to going back and trying more off the menu.

Absolutely outstanding! The place was absolutely packed to the rafters!! There was 60 of us, we all ordered separately… Everything came out super fast, fresh and hot!! We own a smoker and have eaten at many bbq establishments and more often than not 2 or 3 parts of the platter is sub standard at best…not this one! We had the 1/2 Butchers block (twice) and everything was spot on! Outstanding effort!
Your staff are a huge asset! Especially your office manager who I discovered had looked after me in the corporate box at the track earlier that day! We went back for brunch on Monday and she was still there!! 5* Highly recommend!!

Thank you to all the team at The Oxford Bathurst. Our club (Sydney Muscle & Performance Car Club Inc) did our annual Bathurst weekend away, this past weekend. We went for a different approach this year, and couldn’t be happier. Daniel and his team did a marvellous job, they looked after us and catered for whatever we needed. A massive thank you to Daniel and the team, you guys are amazing, and the food well WOW! Absolutely delicious.

Had dinner here last night, mum and dad and 3 children.

We were seated quickly and when one of the waiters saw the kids moved us out to a table by the children’s play area giving mum and dad a break. Food was awesome best ribs we have ever had and have had in over 20 establishments.

The menu is old fashioned pub food, cooked & presented well. It is brought to the table reducing anxious lining up. Great atmosphere because a lot of people already know how good it is for a family catch-up. It would be great to have more fish options than salmon, but this is a personal preference.

Chill pub with friendly patrons and staffs. They do texas style smoked bbq here. Sangas with chips is exquisite. Extremely crunchy crust. I ordered sloppy joe and steak and they both tasted brilliant. The aioli is very special. Not like your regular aioli trust me. Dining is much better upstairs with lots of spacious seatings and street view.

We were travelling, Went for a late night dinner but been pushed away by security as they said we are not in a proper dress code( shirt, pants and black crocs). Cant see in their website they have dress code. Went to our hotel change a bit then went back the security still "lecturing us how we should dress up as they are top place in the are". Maybe Crown or Hilton hotel of bathurst?
